I decided to spend one month inTuscany this year and was advised by several friends that Siena would be an ideal city to use as a base. I wanted to rent close to the Campo, Siena's main square so that I could become familiar with the neighborhood. After considering various alternative properties, I selected Apartment Benito, offered by Casa Vacanze... More

Excellent location, nice clean apartment, honest price, welcoming host with a strong eye for detail. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay in Siena to be close to all the main attractions. Only slight hiccup was that the WiFi was not working properly all the time.

Okay, people. We cannot say enough about Casa Vacanze il campo, as this was our third stay there. Not only is the location perfect, the apartments are comfortable (we always have a kitchen) and Giovanni is absolutely wonderful. We love visiting Siena, and feel so at home in that city. We have rented many apartments over the years there, but... More

The location is just a couple of minutes from the main square, apartments are spacious with comfortable beds, bathroom is clean, internet is working and you can also park your car nearby at their designated parking spot.

We had an apartment on Via Sambuco, a few minutes walk from the main building on Via Salicotto. Because I'm deathly allergic to cats, I always have to query apartment owners in advance about whether a previous guest might have had a cat in the room. Giovanni, the owner, was not only understanding but very solicitous. This particular apartment was,... More

Having never been to Siena before we were pleasant surprised at how good the location of this place was. We were arriving by train and so took a taxi from the station to ensure we arrived when reception was open (they are flexible if you contact them). Glad we did as it would have been a long walk through the... More

Made the bold decision to spend Christmas away from home, but couldn't have chosen a better place. Beautiful 'romantico' apartment (very good value) right bang in the centre of Siena. (NB you will want to book a taxi or arrange a pickup with Giovanni (the manager) from your bus or train rather than hump your bags over the cobbles, even... More

I stayed at a two-bedroom apartment at the top floor for 3 nights in late October/early November. Overall the experience was controversial, as there were strong good and bad points, and I left with an impression that there were certainly better flats to rent in Siena. However it was a decent stay, with details below: Pros: The apartment I finally... More

Dear Madam, we are sorry that your stay was not wholly satisfactory. We apologize for the fact that the some bulbs were not working in the chandelier in the living room. We wish to clarify some points in your review, since some of your complaints are unfair. The apartment we reserved for you was one of the quietest (4th floor,... More

As I think everybody has said this set of apartments has a great location just a few minutes walk from the main square. We arrived by bus and ended up having to drag our bags through town to get to the apartment. This is fine if you have backpacks as it is only a 10 min walk but if you... More

“As noted, we chose 'Benito' as we were here for 9 days but there are a good range of other apartments as well. We would definitely choose this wonderful apartment again as it was a delight to sit on the rooftop at sunset with a glass of wine looking out over the rooftops and the Tower.”
