Il Vicario is a place you discover and remember the earth is a good place to live. Fulvio and Katia represent the best of their country and their chosen profession. Their friendliness and hospitality are the best we have seen in all of our travels. The dinner ( make sure you stay for at least 1) is a true Italian...

You will need to have a car for this hotel, its a small rustic hotel, run by a Katia and Fulvio. it is tucked away in the Tuscon hills with panoaramic views. We mainly met Fulvio during our stay, and he was the most wonderfully warm host. It felt like we were staying with friends even though we only stayed...

We stayed here for 5 nights during our tour of Italy and Austria in August 2009. We are two adults and a 6yr old daughter. There's no question that Katia and Fulvio who run this place were the best hosts of our whole tour. They go out of their way to help you and nothing is too much trouble. The...

Il Vicario is a wonderful little getaway in the Tuscan countryside. The service is excellent and there is a very relaxed atmosphere. When we arrived we were given a warm and friendly welcome and a lovely cappuccino! Our room was very nice, rustic and basic but clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, home cooked Tuscan specialities and the different...

Travelling with a 4 month old, Il Vicario provided a fantastic option for us. Would recommend having dinner at the B&B as we could sit out in the courtyard outside our room to hear if our baby woke up. Host Fulvio and Katiya were very friendly and generous. We took our own cot, not sure if they have one. Ask...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two days during our trip to Italy. Our experience at Il Vicario was without a doubt the best we have had at any hotel or establishment in all our years of traveling. I would give it a 6 out of 5 if I could. What can I say that has not already been...

My husband and I were greeted by Fulvio and Katia with open arms (literally) and a glass of wine upon our arrival. We felt like they knew us already and we were welcomed in as if to feel we were at home. Because we booked a room sort of last minute, we were given the only room left which was...

This was my second visit - last year I went with my partner and this time I took my girlfriends. Everything was as wonderful as the first time - hospitality, food, ambiance created by the owners, feeling of being at home, nothing too much trouble. This time there was the added bonus of being allowed to see the 13th century...

The hospitality offered by the hosts Fulvio and Katia is hard to beat – nothing seems to be too much trouble - great welcome, good home-made traditional food, very relaxed atmosphere and a lot of fun. I spent a week with a group of friends in June at Il Vicario and it was an amazing experience. I am returning there...

What a wonderful place! We spent our last three days in Italy at this wonderful bed and breakfast. It was the fastest three days of my life. If I had known how wonderful Il Vicario would be, I would have planned a longer stay. Fulvio and Katia are wonderful hosts. They have a way of making you feel like old...
