There was a mistake in my reservation, which was a third party's fault. Nevertheless, Podere Sant'Elena accommodated us. Their breakfast was great and the view from our room was breathtaking. We could see the towers of San Gimignano and the vineyards down the rolling hills. Our children loved running around the small farm area. Overall it was a great way...

This is the best holiday destination in the world. It is not a fancy 5 star hotel, but it is the most perfect Traditional, country, Tuscan B and B you will ever find. My wife and I have been here on many occasions, and will return for as long as we are able to. The people who own, and work...

Really loved this place which I found thanks to Trip Advisor. Was here in early October and used it as a base of operations for exploring the Chianti region. The room was small but very clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. The view, as everyone has commented on here, is truly break taking and the breakfast that Barbara and her staff...

Great position up on hill opposite San Gimingnano old town. Breakfast was served in a separate building next door which was a little tight on space but you could sit outside for breakfast if you wished. We missed not being able to have toast at breakfast. Room divided opinion - whilst it was beautifully rustic there was a damp smell...

Stayed earlier in the week in a similar augoroturism with views of the Val D'Orcia valley. We preferred the views from here, they were just incredible. Such a lovely atmosphere here. We walked into San Gim town on a scorching day, it was hard work (about 40 minutes with stops) down a lovely trail. There is a pizzeria 2 minutes...

Thanks to Trip advisor and many recommendations within, we decided to take a short stay here. A perfect choice. From the minute we were led into our room and opened our windows, we were stunned with the beauty of San Gimignano town and the vineyards dotting the hillyards in the distance. This B & B would have to have one...

I was sorry to be staying just one night at this stunning hotel. The walk through the woods into town was delightful, although a good torch is required to get back in the dark. The large, light and comfortable room had a great view of the town, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful. Check in was welcoming, although they...

We were enchanted with Podere Sant'Elena from the moment we turned up the little lane to find the lovely B & B nestled on the hilltop. We sat on the terrace that has the most amazing view, every morning with coffee and evening with wine. It was the end of May and the fireflies were out, what a treat to...

This local family owned B&B situated outside the town has incredible views of the Towers of San Gimignano. The sunsets are spectacular. The rooms are modern and beautifully kept. The pool is large and a delightful place to retreat to after a day of sightseeing. The grounds are beautifully kept. This is a delightful place to stay for a few...
