We visited this family restaurant in this November to celebrate birthday of our grandson. We ordered family pizza, garlic bread followed by birthday cake. Atmosphere is peculiar Italian Style. Staff brought cake and as soon as cake eas cut staff sang happy birthday song in Italian and all present in restaurant clapped. It was a wonderful experience.

We found this place by chance and it was really worth it. Antonella was really nice and she let us taste the products before we bought the salami and cheese. The product is really genuine and delicious. They are vacuum to stay fresh. It is a must to visit this shop if you are visiting in San Gimignano. I really...

A lovely shop to buy wild boar salami (many flavours); sliced, ready to eat; beautiful cheese; bottles of fabulous wine. Enabled us to have a beautiful afternoon back at our hotel watching the sunset.

The location is great, a couple of kms out of San Gimignano - we walked back at midnight with kids aged 8 and 10 without a problem after a wine tasting in the town (minor note that taxis are difficult to secure and quite expensive - 30 EUR one way). The pool and amenities around the farm are also great....

My wife and I just went to Italy for our honeymoon. Tuscany was our favorite place and we fell in love with your shop La Buca Di Montauto in San Gimignano. We purchased Salame di Cinghiale al tartufo, it cost 14 euros. My wife loves truffles more than almost anything else. She says your salame was the best thing she...

We spent a gorgeous week here in September. Our self catering cottage was one of about 5 on the working farm. Surrounded by the vineyards and with a view of the San Gimgnano towers in the distance, you can't beat it! Our cottage was cosy and well equipped. The small kitchen has a gas hob and fridge so that you...

La Buca di Montauto is an agriturismo in its purest sense. It is a humble, tranquil place were the olives grow, the vinyard with (Vernaccia) grapes is carefully taken care off and the wild boar are well looked after. The family is hard working and most welcoming. They also have a shop in San Gimignano were their products are sold....

After traveling trough the south of France, crossing Italy from North to South and Sicily, we have spent the last part of our honey moon in San Gimignano and stayed at "La Buca". It was definitely the best part of our trip, we loved the village, the landscapes, the food and the wines. "La Buca" is a charming wonderful place,...

“The agriturismo does not serve breakfast nor does it have a restaurant. This can be difficult for those who stay in a room. By booking an apartment, you will be self supporting.”
