Four of us just returned from a 4 day stay at Mormoraia. Where do I begin? First, the location is absolutely perfect. A beautiful vineyard lined rolling hill property a short five minute drive from San Gimignano and only one hour from Florence. If you are looking to relax and get away from the daily grind this is the spot....

The hotel and people were wonderful. The hotel is set in an absolutely idyllic setting. We did not stay long enough. The host provided a small tour of the winery. The first white wine on their list (forgetting the name) is the best. The best meal we had while in Italy came out of this kitchen. The pool is a...

What a special place! We absolutely loved our stay here. It was definitely one of the most relaxing, beautiful portions of our trip. My husband had to drag me out of there! Atmosphere: The property was amazing! The pool, outside dining area, and overall landscape were just divine. Watching the sunset, while eating a great dinner, put it over the...

By far the best agroturismo in Siena! Lovely stay in the heart of Tuscany, nearby the medieval town San Gimignano (approx.10km) Spacious rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, relaxing surroundings with endless vineyards and olive trees for morning hikes. Great restaurant as well. Make sure to buy their homemade olive oil!

My wife and I spent one night here on our eleven day trip to Italy. It was too short, it was our favorite stay. Giuseppina and everyone at Mormoraia made it wonderful. The room was nicely furnished and the bed was soft. Every direction you looked was a postcard view. The wine was great and the food was fabulous.

We spent 2 wonderful days at Mormoraia. It was marvelous! We lived in traditional Tuscany house, with a very nice village interior in our room. The house had a beautiful view to San Gimignano and green hills. Here is an atmosphere of tranquility. The owner and a staff are very friendly and hospitable. We also had very delicious Tuscany wines...

What a wonderful place and even more wonderful and helpful staff. We were visiting friends who live in Vicenza, Italy and wanted to see Tuscany with them. I found this place via a recommendation of an Italian web site that rates vacation properties. Tenuta Mormoraia is a working winery and vineyard with apartment and room rentals under a program in...
