Handy for airport- we all slept really well, and staff great. Seen a review about the air con being off but the owner of another apartment was telling us about the strict laws in Italy that AC is only allowed during certain times. Taxi about 10€ from the airport but that was from the rank- I guess pre booking would...

We are a well travelled couple and booked this accomodation as we only had one night in Pisa. It was truly awful. It's like something out of the 1970s, carpets dirty and so dated. Our room was so hot like a sauna and when my husband called to ask about aircon we were advised it was turned off for the...

Dear CocoMelbourne_10, we have no carpets at the Hotel Galilei. I am sure this review it is not referring to us. Monica Marketing Dept.

Stayed here one night for a business trip. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. A modern building, so the room and amenities were modern and spacious. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold items. A good stay.

The restaurant service (Saturday, evening meal) was excellent, very friendly and good food. Very loud disco music from 10 pm until midnight which was annoying. Room clean but no duvet, only blanket in wardrobe, so not warm enough. It's also badly signposted, you can see it from the superstrada but it's hard to actually get there. I probably won't stay...

Dear Claire T, disco? We do not have any disco at the hotel. Maybe it was music coming from Restaurant, sometimes could happen that guests organize dinner with music. Normally we agree if the party is finishing before the night and without disturb other guests of the hotel. I completely disagree about position, there are many guests choosing Hotel Galilei...

The hotel room was clean and we also enjoy staying outside in a restaurant, had some drinks while playing cards. On the other hand , Thank God we only stayed there for one night , in the evening one could here a lot of noises , could be the fact that only one separate wall in between one room an...

Unimpressive check-in from a harassed receptionist dealing with incoming phone calls as well as arriving guests. Comfortable room decorated with light wood and orange highlights. Excellent desk and wardrobe provided. Flooring was vinyl oak-look planks. The lighting system in the room was unsatisfactory. One bedside light would not turn off until the room key had been removed from the light...

Good hotel very closed to the airport of Pisa so convenient for arrival or departure for an Italian trip. The bedrooms are clean. Staff is very accommodating and breakfast is good. There are some special accommodations for people with early flights.

monica b, Direttore vendite at Hotel Galilei, responded to this review

Dear Olivier280, as Hotel Galilei is the nearest hotel close to the airport, we accommodate a lot of passengers going to the airport. That's because we offer a light snack for those leaving very early. Monica Marketing Off.

After a late night arrival at the airport I stayed one night here as I did not want to blunder about in a strange city in the dark. Simple clean friendly hotel and good value. Wifi worked and breakfast was Pre packed but sufficient. I would not stay longer and moved into the city the following morning (25 mins walk)...

The hotel itself was clean, the staff friendly and the food in the restaurant tasty; BUT, this restaurant is in the industrial area of town and not within walking distance to town. They do have shuttle service via private car but it costs €15 per journey (to town, the airport or the train station).
