A comfortable and convenient hotel. All the basics you need including free parking, no frills. It's a nice stroll to the Leaning Tower (about 20mins). Lady at reception was exceptional! Breakfast can get crowded but fairly extensive options.
Lovely hotel and a short walk to the leaning tower etc and you can find all sorts of tourist activities there. the staff were very helpful and friendly and hotel was relaxed and well appointed. Would recommend this to anyone. Pisa is a beautiful town and we will definitely be back.
The rooms didn’t really match the pictures online. We had a twin room, pretty basic and not super comfy but everything else about the place was perfect. So close to the airport, good Wi-Fi, nice bathrooms and really really helpful staff. Got an incredible florentine steak on our last day
Lovely little hotel with friendly staff. Our room looked slightly more dated than the photos provided but it was still the same style and was very clean. The housekeeping team do a great job and replace towels etc as needed. The reception staff are very polite, as are the bar & restaurant staff. Breakfast was as expected, small but tasty selection with something to most peoples taste. The hotel is about 10-15mins walking distance from the leaning tower so is very good value for money for the location. Would definitely recommend this hotel overall, worth every penny.
Very disappointed with the hotel, room was dated , no kettle no cups , forget about the restaurant, food was disgusting, service was absolutely awful, we felt like the waitress was rushing us to order our food , food came we were still waiting for our side plate and our cutleries . Just don’t bother with this hotel as my advice.
Visited this hotel 17th to the 21st July this year travelling from the uk for a short city break. Have to say that we found the hotel excellent value for money. Yes, if it was £250 a night then would not get five stars BUT it’s not £250 a night. For what you pay this hotel is excellent value for money. It’s 1.2 miles to the centre on foot. The train station which is 500 yards away provides trains into the central station for under 2 euros and you can also get direct trains to Florence ( an hour) for 7 euros!! Also coastal resort of viareggio was only 7 euros return from this station with lovely beaches and restaurants. Not sure you could get a better location for the price. We found the hotel very clean and the bar are very nice with very reasonably priced drinks in nice surroundings. Pint of lager 5 euros. Wine 4 euros!! Hotel room clean. Not luxurious but again you are not paying luxury prices!! Immaculate en suite and breakfast was also excellent and included in the price we paid of approx 90 euros a night. Not sure that some of the previous reviews are accurate when put in context of the prices you are paying. If you are after a clean modest but nice hotel in a great location whilst visiting this city you can’t go wrong with this place. It’s also only a 30 minute walk to the tower of Pisa. We found the staff very nice , the head barman who also monitored the breakfast was somewhat cold but probably just the hos persona as once you got to know him he was very nice and accommodating. Many reviews mention the noise from the nearby train line and road but didn’t appear anymore that one would expect at a city centre hotel and certainly didn’t disturb our sleep. Good double glazing kept the noise out and air con was good.Wouldn’t hesitate visiting this hotel again if we came back to Pisa.…
This hotel has a private parking which is useful if you arrive by car. There is a lot of trafic outside to consider if this affects you. The breakfast is okay and slow service provides you both here and by the front desk. The hotel is clean, beds are hard and the hotel needs an upgrade. Dont get fooled by the name «grand hotel». The location is good. Only a 10 min walk to see the tower and from there it is central. All in all a okay stay with no surprises or big disappointments. Therefore and average experience.
Not a good experience. We booked a junior suite and it was filthy. Stained sheets, dirt on the walls wardrobe doors were glued shut and the room smelled. We went to reception and the guy couldn't care less. He wouldn't come up and look at it as he said he couldn't leave the desk. After some convincing he gave us another room. This would have been fine except for the fact that when we entered the room the air conditioning was suffering a very loud and grinding death. Went to reception and the man wasn't there. The chef saw us waiting and got him. Again couldn't care less. He eventually gave us the key to another room and it was fine. Clean and ok for the night. On the plus side this hotel has parking. Is in an excellent location to visit Pisa and the breakfast was good too.
We stayed in a junior suite in June 22. The price was good and the hotel was really clean. The bathroom needed renovation. Our room was on top of the kitchen and a bit noisy, also noisy from the trains passing by. The breakfast was poor. Some of the staff were really helpfull. The hotel is 15 min. walking from the square of Miracles but in an area surrounded by Univercities and houses, nothing remarkable. The city center is around the Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi where at night it is full of life, and the good restaurants are at the other side of the river.
We spent one night in this hotel. Location Location was good. It was easy to walk Pisa tower and It was not long walk to the riverside eather. Room Room was clean and air condition was good. The water pressure in shower was very low. The staff Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking There was o lot of parking place behind hotel and It was free of charge. This was big plus. Breakfast It was poor because there was anything green like cucumber or tomatoes. But if you like sweet things in your breakfast It was defenitely for you.
