What a great welcome and attention from Mickaela and Isabella. Service with a smile and a laugh greets tired travellers. Accommodation is great value for such a central location, 40 metres from tower. Cannot recommend enough.

The main selling point of the hotel is its location right outside the entrance to the Pisa Tower square. It literally couldn’t be any closer. Check in was very quick and easy, with helpful staff available until relatively late at night. The family room in the main building was a very good size with plenty of space for 4. An ideal place for a brief over night stop before moving on

Excellent experience, we arrived late to our family room which is in a different area to the main hotel. It’s a few mins walk to the tower in an excellent location. As our flight was delayed we arrived before midnight a friendly member of staff met us outside. Our room was clean, spacious, had blackout shutters and excellent air con. The hotel kept our bags the next day and sorted a taxi for us. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel is literally on the doorstep of the leaning tower of Pisa! We stayed for two nights and our room was Room 10 -Roma It was such a lovely room, very clean and we had a cute little veranda. The shower was a bit small but it was fine for us. The bed was a 4 poster bed, drapes could do with a clean but it was a comfy bed. The staff where so lovely, very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for two nights as a couple. We checked in straight away even though it was early which was great, we were taken up a lot of stairs to the very top floor which to our surpise was a suite (we had been staying in hostels so I don’t know why we got given this suite). It was a huge room, two aircons that worked and a shower that at first sight looked awesome. It was mainly clean however it didn’t look like the bathroom had been cleaned at all which was worrying. When we got back and properly unpacked our stuff that evening, we took a shower, which did not work properly, granted we didn’t ask staff to help as it was late and enough water came out to shower so we just let it be but it was a sad shower which as stated was a little unclean. Hard to show in the photo but the water just ran down the shower head. On another note the door for the room was at the bottom of some very dark stairs and there was no extra door on the bedroom, it may seem silly but it was a little scary to have all that open dark space. Anyway..not to the hotels fault, my partner opened the window to get rid of a spider, and immediately a lizard came in… cute one, but still a lizard, we tried to catch it with the help of the receptionist but it was too quick and went into the wall. Not their fault at all, it’s Tuscany after all but we didn’t want to sleep with a loose lizard so they gave us a different room immediately without us even asking! The lady was so kind and so helpful, I didn’t catch her name but she had blonde hair and was very nice! Our new room was by the front door at the bottom, smaller but we didn’t care, it was cleaner and the shower worked. The rest of the stay was fine, no breakfast which is a shame. Only other issue is there were maybe 15 mosquitos in our room, not happened in any other hotel, not sure why this one specifically. Location however was amazing!! Right at the square of miracles, literally a 15 second walk. Also right by the bus stop to the station too so great location!

Best location in the whole of Pisa (assuming you’re coming for the tower!) Quaint 1920s ambiance and the most polite and helpful of staff (helped us so much when our plans changed due to a cancelled flight). If you want ‘old fashioned’ charm and a simple but elegant room-this is the place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. These pictures must be old as they don’t do it justice. We arrived late but even still the owner of the hotel took the time to talk us through the town, highlighting the areas that are “tourist traps” and the best things to do. He recommended really good restaurants as well. It is in the best location to visit to tower. It was extremely clean and quiet. He kindly upgraded us to the suite as well which was really kind. It’s clear that the owner takes massive pride in the hotel and I Would highly recommend it, especially if you want to support local businesses and people. Could not be more accommodating. Remember to book directly with the hotel to save you (and the hotel) some money.

Very friendly hotel situated next door to the cathedral and excellent value for money. We had a lovely large room on the top floor which was quiet. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and showed us to our room. We would stay here again if visiting.

Have you ever looked at a hotel online and think “perfect”. Breakfast. Proximity to sites and restaurants incredible. Parking. And then… you get there. You have to cross busy street pulling/carrying luggage thru vendor tents to get to hotel. You get to the room which is freezing. A baby could crawl under the door. No windows. The shower? Forget about it. Either freezing or scalding. Your child could actually get burnt as there is no in between freezing and scalding. Garden? Don’t believe the pictures. After flying overseas you actually contemplate finding another place. The only good thing is the staff. That is Hotel Pisa Tower.

Response from Fabio Notarstefano, Proprietario at Hotel Pisa Tower
Responded 5 Apr 2022
Dear Guest, We thank you again for choosing HOTEL PISA TOWER. We appreciate the feedback as we believe that our customers' reviews help us improve the service that we provide. First of all, it is clearly stated on both Booking.com and our website that there are two locations – all things well explained whenever a guest is checking in at our reception. With regards to the location of the room, please note that, when booking the room, the booking portal always highlights where the room you are going to choose is located (e.g.: ; Double Room ; Budget Double Room - Separate Building) and prices change accordingly, so that our guests can feel free to choose the type of room that best meet their needs. All our guests are escorted by one of our staff members from one place to another to make it easier for everyone ad not get lost. It is also cleraly stated that we have a partnership for both Breakfast and Parking. Breakfast is served in one of the best cafeterias in Pisa and the private parking is one of the safest. We are sorry you did not like the prime location of the hotel, we are in the heart of the city, right next to the city centre, for this reason it could be a bit busy sometimes. Each room is regular in dimension and amenities and you will always find a window in it. Regarding the shower we are sorry you did not tell our staff about the problem, we could have explained how the shower works in order to have warm water. We are sorry to read about our garden, our garden is always at our guests disposal, during check-in procedure our staff always explains where it is ( right at the ground floor near reception area ) Nevertheless we hope to host you again in the future. Best Regards, HOTEL PISA STAFF.
