We chose this hotel based on positive reviews on Tripadvisor and Expedia. As other reviews mentioned noise, I asked for a quiet room and we were not disappointed. Our triple room was a good size, and backed onto a couryard. The bathroom was a little small, but perfectly adequate. Room was spotless and had the usual amenities. Buffet breakfast was...

Hotel Bologna is perfectly situated for all sightseeing in and around Pisa. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The facilities are clean and with not a bad word to say we would recommend this hotel for a short or long stay. Florence is only a cheap trip on the train, taking an hour to get there. Don't forget to visit...

Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pisa. Staff were very helpful, polite and courteous. Location was great, close to all everything of interest in Pisa. Rooms cleaned very well every day. Breakfast was great with lots of selection. Hotel is traditionally styled but tastefully updated with nice little areas such as the outside terrace, great for drinks at the...

Served the purpose well as an overnight transit stop after landing at Pisa airport for onward train journey. Taxi from airport cost 8 euros. As other people say, handy for both station (10 min walk) and leaning tower etc. Room and staff fine; breakfast was average.

Spent three nights in a single room off the car park; in a wing behind the front desk area. The PROS Well laid out rooms, very clean and a lovely bathroom. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. The CONS Poor security - anyone could walk through the carpark into the hotel, no spyholes in the doors or chains to "snib"...

I was pleased with the hotel. The location was good, a short walk to the main attractions and good restuarants. The room had a sizeable bathroom and a comfortable room. The staff was helpful in assisting with directions and bags. The only complaint I had was the noise from the street that woke us up very early. For the price,...

The Hotel Bologna is about ten minutes walk from the station, and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the Leaning Tower across the Arno. There are plenty of good eating places nearby. We particularly liked the Arciere restaurant - turn right out of the hotel, first right and third left. Very popular with the locals and excellent value.

From the reviews on this site I was expecting a little better than what I discovered. It was by no means a bad place, just a little mediocre for a 4 star hotel. The major plus were the staff who were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English, they recomended 2 excellent restaurants and couldn't be faulted. The hotel was pleasantly...

Booked this hotel through Ryanair, had a fantastic stay. Staff were more than helpful, nothing too much trouble! Once given our room, which was on the front, it had the wow factor! Fabrics were lovely, the room huge, the bathroom to die for. The room was cleaned to highest spec, paying attention to detail. Breakfast was great, something for everyone,...
