What a wonderful place! Exceptional service from the large room, daily service and huge selection for breakfast. One wonders if Paolo and Cateirna ever slow down. Truly a gem in the area. Cateirna took time to ensure our visit to Lucca and its sites went without a hitch. Would come back again and again.

What a friendly welcome! We were able to enjoy the beautiful pitch and the wonderful ambience for two days. The breakfast was also extremely delicious and made and served with lots of love. Everything was sparkling clean and attractive.

Absolutely recommended, it couldn't be better!

We stayed two nights during our bike trip from Pisa to Florence. Right away we were made to feel welcome by Paolo and Catarina, who did an excellent job with renovating their hotel. The room was very comfy and very clean, breakfast was great with good coffee and fresh eggs of any style. We had forgotten some clothing items in the previous hotel in Pisa and Catarina went out of her way to get the hotel's phone, made a few calls to ensure that our items were still there for pick up. We appreciated this very much. The front yard is perfect for having lunch or dinner, which we brought from the close-by supermarket in the village. Paolo's wine was great and tasty. Lucca is a fantastic city, no wonder it is a UN heritage site. Biking around the countryside is also very pleasurable, even the ride to and from Lucca is easily doable, even at night.

We stayed four days in this wonderful property: it is located in a great location -a few minutes from the walls of Lucca- but in the countryside, in an oasis of tranquility. The rooms are cozy and spotless, as well as all environments. Very good breakfast, with local products. The owners Paolo and Caterina are wonderful, very kind and ready to give a Recommendation, fulfill a request or just have a chat.
Overall: highly recommended!

Everything super. Paolo and Caterina are exquisite and hospitable people. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with products also for gluten intolerants. Good wine and home-produced oil. B&B just outside the center and surrounded by greenery.

Beautiful place in the district of Sant'Alessio, about 15 minutes by bike to the city walls of Lucca. Quiet, beautiful location. The Parco Fluviale del Serchio is very close by. From there you can reach the Leaning Tower of Pisa in about half an hour by car

My fault that I did not realize there were cats in the house.
Stayed 15 minutes and had to leave because of allergies.
Was charged for the first night. Found a wonderful B&B
in Lucca called La Romea.Stayed there 5 nights.

This converted farmhouse is located in a small town (S. Alessio), very close to Lucca. It is picturesque, with large, clean and comfortable rooms; it provides a generous breakfast; the owners are friendly; and overall it is a very good value. Quite perfect!

To reach Lucca, you drive about 7-8 minutes to free parking lots outside the city walls (the owners will mark them on your map), and from there it is a brief 7-8 minutes of a pleasant walk to Piazza San Frediano, and the rest of this beautiful city. Hence, you have the advantages of both a countryside residence and quick access to the city (without the usual headache of parking).

We loved staying at this agroturismo farm house, beautifully restored with stone walls and beamed ceilings, set in a small vineyard and garden. We took lovely morning walks through the back roads. The location has easy access to the historic walled city of Lucca and to day trips to Cinque Terre and the Garfagnana. Our hosts, Caterinia and Paolo, provided excellent breakfasts and tips on fine local trattoria for nearby dinners. Their olive oil is wonderful too, and made for great presents back home. The rooms are spacious, up-to-date, and comfortable. A great value.
