Excellent in every way. Our room, which was up two flights of stairs (no lift), turned out to be a well-equipped and very comfortable studio apartment with cooking facilities. The location is perfect since the town and train station are within easy walking distance. We very much enjoyed the buffet breakfast and loved the idea that we were able to...

I spent 2 weeks at Il Seminario while I attended language school in Lucca. Being by myself, I wanted a homey, welcoming, comfortable base, and I found it. The room was great, the breakfast fantastic, and the location is very handy. It is close to everything but enough away from the center as to be very quiet. The friendly staff...

This lovely BnB is a must stay if you are visiting Lucca. The room is clean and beautifully Italian - exactly as it appears in their posts. It is very easy to find and just a short walk from the train station and is inside the old walled city - very cool! The breakfast is one of the best I...

Just perfect! Location is very central, within the walls of this very beautiful city. Very friendly. Very cozy and clean. We got a huge room under the Roof, which was hot at the first moment, but there is air condition. Very recommended!

We loved this city and only wish we could have stayed longer. We had some difficulty finding the B&B and were fortunate enough to run into a friend of the owner who was most kind to give us a lift. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival by a lovely young lady, who showed us to our room. It was...

After two weeks staying here and meeting many folk at breakfast it would seem that most people who stay here do so either for one or two nights: I think these generally are people who only appreciate how much Lucca has to offer once they are here and have squeezed in a trip to this fine city between other places...

We booked this B&B primarily because it had a large room for four adults, had free parking, with breakfast included. It is inside the walls and walking distance to everything. Getting there can be a bit tough per usual for all Italian towns with one way, small streets. The service was the best aspect, and Irene in particular was fabulous....

Despite a sat nav we had a little difficulty finding the place. Top tip. Get near and then phone and the helpful staff will pop outside and wave to you. The place is lovely with exceptionally friendly staff. There is a small dining area and the breakfast was superb. The bedroom was spotless and bed comfortable. We would stay there...
