the view is very nice but does not make up for poor and unkind service, dirty wc, run down dining area and over the top prices.....
do not go, even though they may have bought a recommendation in some "have to do and see" guides - at the prices they charge they can afford to!

This is a review of the restaurant not the hotel.Yes, the hotel is faded but just sit on the terrace and have lunch.This was one of the best meals I had during my stay in Florence.Spent three hours over a lazy lunch.service is not quick but go with it and enjoy the wonderful view
