The wonderful staff at the Corte dei Medici saved us last week. The apartment we rented on the south side of the Arno was very close to the big sinkhole, and after two days with no water we decided to move to a hotel. After some online research, I called the Corte dei Medici and spoke to the friendly and...

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your kind words on us, Especially from Anna an Rachel. We are so happy that you have enjoyed your stay here, the room and the breakfast. We like to cuddle our guest. Please don't blame the owner of the appartment for what happened, it is fault of the pubblic water company, and all...

The hotel is very centrally located and that is its only feature. Wifi is horrible, never works. Room was good sized but jaded and needed renovation. Bathroom had no shelf only a stool to put toileteries on. The door of the bathroom too did not have a latch. No housekeeping was done. To their credit the staff was very good...

Dear Guest, i apologize again for the lack of housekeeping, it should not have happened. We have made for you an upgrade to two quadruple rooms, one with a view on San Lorenzo, and one with a Jacuzzi bath tube. So you had all the space that you want, anyway i will ask to the manager to pu some shelves....

Great location, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. An old building in the process of being done up but at no inconvenience. Small but quite comfortable. Very handy to the markets and the main attractions.

I could not think of a better place to stay in Florence. With a street market around the corner and the Duomo a few minutes walk away and all of the major attractions not much further it is in an ideal location. The staff were all so friendly and always willing to help in any way. The rooms were cosy...

The welcome, the people, the room, the breakfast, the location - all perfect. A quaint hotel in an interesting street with a market and many reasonably priced local restaurants. Very central - a good base to start out from on a new adventure each day.Thank you for giving us such a wonderful introduction to Florence. We will be back, soon.

Right in the heart of amazing...

It's entrance is a single door leading to the 2nd floor. Once you find it, you're good to go! Although the rooms needed some repair/updates, the hotel is centrally located to everything - train/bus station, leather market, Mercato fresh market/restaurant and sites. We were able to walk to just about all the sites in Florence.
