Fantastic B&B in the heart of Florence! Good price/quality ratio, clean and comfortable, close to all the point of interest. Good area plenty of bars and restaurants, I really enjoyed my stay there! Of course i will come back one day soon. :)

We stayed for three nights and had a great time. Prior to our arrival they had taken money from my card unnecessarily and following an email exchange the money was credited back to my account. To my surprise upon arrival we were upgraded to an apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, living area with kitchenette. It is very central location, two...

We were amazed by the charming apartement right in the center of Florence. Ancient building, renovated with respect and really comfortable. A small elevator is availible. The apartement is equipped with a small kitchen, fridge and washing mashine, as well as good possibility to sit and relax, or to eat. Large bathrooms, maybe a bit small showers. Wifi was good...

The location is fantastic - right opposite the Bargello Museum. Our room was not available when we arrived so we were moved to a room in another location nearby. It was very hot in Florence, mid summer temperatures reaching 36 degrees. The room had no aircon so we didn't sleep well. The 2nd night we moved to the main building...

My Italian Girlfriend organised for us to stay together with our husbands in the double-bedroomed apartment at the top of the building. Bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. The sitting area was large with table, chairs, a small kitchen/fridge/kettle, sofa and coffee table. Lots of room. Each bedroom has a bathroom. Ours was pitside the room but very private. Could...

We stayed in an apartment in centre of Florence which was around the corner from Dante's House & Church. The gentleman who runs it is very nice (disregard his gruff manner as he's a bit hard of hearing). Fitted 4 of us in well. Decor is a bit tired but we used it as a base to sleep only. Getting...

I had some problems with this hotel. At first, they didn't have a room for me. The host guided me to another building outside the hotel and gave me a hole apartment. It was a good apartment, but being far from the reception was a problem. I had a problem with early payment too. The host couldn't confirm my payment,...

The b&b was very easy to find, and I was so excited to see it was right next to Dante's house and church! How cool. It's about a 2 minute walk from the Duomo as well. Very well located, walkable to everything. The host was so helpful, telling us everything we needed to know, might want to know, and should...

Remember this is a house not a hotel just confirm your reservation directly with the place not matter what search engine you use, it's located in a great area just behind Dante Alighieri's house and 2 blocks from the Duomo, Mr Sani is extremely nice, sweet and helpful, there was a problem with our reservation but he managed to give...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
