Bed and Bed Cassia is about a 10-15 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. It is located in a quiet section of the city, but definitely within easy walking distance of the center of Florence. They refill a tray with a croissant, biscotti and a bottle of water each day. The room is clean, the shared bathroom was...

The boss's attitude is very bad. She always say " No English". I feel so bad. And the hotel is very far from the train station, by the walk around 15 to 20 mins. The point is there's no left in the hotel. And the room charge is very strange, she need me write down the information for the credit...

my husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. it was a little further from the station than we would have liked & you have to walk through some dodgy looking streets to get to it. when we arrived we were the only guests in the building. we found our room to be adequate & were luckily to have the...

We absolutely loved this place!! Gino was amazing, and very informative. He was also kind, and went out of his way to help us with the wifi, because it was not working. Although it is a good walk from the center of Florence, it is not UN-manageable by any means. The breakfast that he gives is basic, but a good...

If your travelling by train then carrying your bags a short distance to your hotel is a nice thing. When you find the hotel by reading the brass plaques you need to phone the number on the plaque and an enthusiastic person will soon turn up and let you in. Room tidy and comfortable. Unusually they give you coffee making...

We had originally booked to stay at their 'sister' B&B around the corner called 'B&B Peterson and were advised by email a couple of days prior to our arrival that we would be going to B&B Cassia. We were thankful that they had given us prior warning and that it was still fairly close to where we thought we were...

The guest house operator was friendly and nice. The room was very nice and clean. Had a back patio that was nice to have. Espresso machine and pre-packaged croissant for breakfast. The guest house itself was on the wrong side of the train station from all of the Florence you would like to see. I am an experienced backpacker and...

Here you feel like at home. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. In the hallway, there's a refrigerator guests can put in water, drinks and so on and also coffee machine. There's no one there all day and you have to make an appointment to meet with the host. But that's not a big problem. I wrote...
