We stayed in a quad/suite with two children....age 11 and 13. Awesome location....walkable anywhere in Florence. Room was very large, especially for European Hotels. Large bathroom. Staff was very helpful, and had free wi-fi in lobby (or in room with cable hook up). I would definately stay here again!!

My husband and I spent eight nights here on our honeymoon. It was a marvellous experience. The hotel is in an excellent location, down a quiet street but just a few minutes walk from everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they made all our dinner reservations, and booked tickets to the Uffizi and Academia, which made life a... More

The Borghese Palace Art Hotel had a great staff that were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights, and it was a most pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, we had no problems sleeping. We had plenty of hot water for our showers. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby just to chill for a bit. The staff always... More

I booked 2 rooms for 3 of us. We were given 1 room first, placed our passports & cash in the safe (ones with 4 digit codes), then out sightseeing. Came back 2 hours later, could not open the safe. Called receptionist, he asked another staff, name Leoanrd to come & open the safe for us. This guy keyed in... More

The staff at the front desk (Thanks Masimiliano!) were so helpful in making sure our first stay in Firenze was memorable and welcoming. The only slight negative was the maintentance staff was never able to get our televsion set to work, but hey... More

Firstly parking in Florence is super expensive. Parking at the hotel garage cost 35 euros, which is ridiculous. You would think that being customer's at the hotel, that you would get a discount at least. The staff were friendly and helped us with our luggage. The hotel is located in prime location and the centre of Florence. Our room looked... More

We were not happy at this hotel. The building itself is nice, but the service is terrible. The staff seems to go out of there way to be rude. The spa area was not kept clean, water all over the place, showers dirty. When I complained, I was told that that this was not a concern. Also, the rooms are... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
