This apartment exceeded all my expectations. Francesco and staff were very welcoming and informative, and provided a delicious breakfast every day. We had the 3 bedroom suite to ourselves - our teenagers were delighted to have an enormous double room each, not to mention the internet access so they could brag to their friends via MSN. The rooms were beautifully...

The Residenza is a very nice B&B, worthy of all the good reviews it's been getting on tripadvisor. We stayed in suite ognissanti (family with adolescent kids) and we liked it a lot. Francesco is a very nice fellow, the breakfast is very nice (home made), the rooms are big and clean the bathrooms are HUGE, the bed linen were...

I would give this B&B a 6 out of 5 if tripadvisor allows me to do so. My girlfriend and I stayed at Residenza Vespucci during our stay in Florence for four nights at the end of April 2009. As indicated in my heading, it was Excellent! Francisco, the owner of this B&B made us feel just like home. He...

highly recommended - we had a huge room with an equally HUGE bathroom with a double bath, a marble vanity etc - you could dance inside. The little corridor leading to the room had a beautiful marble framed mirror and two antique chairs to relax on...a few grand little touches like free lollies in the corridor makes your stay very...

Very nice B&B , good price/quality. We had a nice journey at Firenze. Strong points : warm welcome by Francesco , very big and comfortable room, nice breakfast. One minus point : the noise in the street When you want to go to Firenze, you should certainly consider Residenza Vespucci

I am very overdue in writing my comments on this property in Florence. I have to say that we were happy to have such wonderful accomodations for 4 nights in Florence. Francisco the owner's son was very hospitable and accomodating. Upon arrival (which was late than anticipated), we were given a "wing." My mother, aunt and I were traveling together...

I read about Francesco and the Residenza on Trip Advisor's site, Five members of my family were traveling to Florence to join our daughter who was finishing a semester abroad, so the 3 bedroom suite was perfect! My sister arrived early - Francesco immediately invited her to stay by herself in the suite until we arrived. He allowed my daughter...

Five of us stayed for a long weekend in the Langarno suit which had three bedrooms with two bathrooms, one on-suite. There was a very large sitting room with an amazing view over the River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment was in a really wonderful position just a few minutes from all the main sights in Florence. Being...

I have now stayed in this beautiful B&B five times, I have tried four different bedrooms, and every time, every bedroom has been a wonderful experience. Residenza Vespucci is located in the heart of Florence, a few minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella Station, from the shopping area, and from the historical sites. It is located on the Arno river,...

I've now stayed here twice this year and both times the place has been great! The thing I particularly like is that being apartments they offer something slightly different to the usual hotel experience. The rooms are excellently finished - rich fabrics, grand furniture and double height ceilings throughout. There are also some really nice details like those ornate radiators....

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
