We had a really wonderful time at Casa di Barbano. From the warm, friendly, hospitable staff who to the interior design and friendly presence of oddities (such as sweets, and a cat or two in the garden!) Lovely breakfast given too. Not so far from the centre either. Will definitely be booking into Casa di Barbano next time I am...

Some quirks during our 5 day stay in the apartment we rented. Clean and like most places if you stay in Florence it is quite easy to get around. This one happens to be near the train station if you know where you are going it can take maybe a 15 walk depending on your stride. We felt safe in...

Wonderful time in this personal and professional place of rest. Mora Q is a charming hostess and serves a warm and tasty breakfast. The location is close to the main attractions, but also just at the edge of a real neighborhood, so you can sense the local life in Florence. I will be back to The CasadiBarbano. I eel lucky...

This bed and breakfast place has very nice and spacious rooms. Close to a lot tourist attraction as most of Florence's attractions are within walking distance. Very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station which is prerfect for a day trip to Pisa. We really liked the staff here. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the city.

This B&B has a lot of things going for it. The owner (Morag) is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were pretty good and there was plenty of gluten free stuff for my gf. The rooms were clean. The location is also excellent. It's about 5-10 min walk from the train station and perhaps 10-15 walk from the city center,...

Situated in a quieter area but 10 minute walk to the main attractions, extremely clean accommodation, sheets and towels regularly changed. Basic breakfast but adequate, Morag (the owner) was very efficient and extremely helpful.

First of all, I love Moraq. She is not your "fake-smile-say-what-you-want-to-hear" type person. She's strong, smart, has opinions, and is full of great information. She spent probably, in total, a half an hour telling us about what to see and how to get there. Her B&B is immaculate, the beds are comfy. Wood floors, nice shower. The breakfast is standard,...

Booked and cancelled two B&Bs before I decided to stay at Casa di Barbano, I based my decision on other travellers' very good reviews. My expectations were quite high. And what a disappointment after. We stayed in room 3, the room was cold and heating was not working. The following morning, Moraq (the owner/host)informed me that in Florence, by 1st...

The room had high ceilings and was pristine and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was simple and delicious with the best coffee. It is within easy walking distance of the station and the sights of Florence. We would stay here again on our next visit to Florence.

Casa de Barbano is one of the best places to stay in Florence. The owner Moraq is absolutely great and warm and very friendly. She was very helpful with everything we needed including trips booking, shopping, sight seeing etc. The breakfast is lovely and light and the room is very clean and the a/c was working a treat when we...
