The apartment is very well and centrally located. We had a car, which we parked very easily into a parking house close by, which our host recommended. Parking was 25€/day, and the lodging was 100 €/night. Apartment was a little disappoiment. Photos were very professionally taken, actually there was not so much room. Also, cleanliness was very poor. We were...

All attractions are within walking distance, comfortable beds, clean, the view from the main bedroom is lovely, big bathroom, good kitchenette with a basket full of breakfast foods and cakes and comfy sofa. It was just perfect for our stay in Florence and we will be back again.

From the minute we took the tiny lift up the four floors to the apartment, we loved it. So central that we could pop back for lunch, siesta or to drop off our shopping. Plenty to eat for breakfast, nice views over the rooftops, and quiet (even though we were in the centre of the city) - and our host...

My family and I stayed in this little apartment when we traveled to Florence. It was a nice little place that was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of things to eat for breakfast, lots of sweets and other things. The apartment was nicely stocked. The location was fantastic. We were walking distance to everything that we wanted to see....

What a gem this place is! Franco was there to meet my mother and I on a 3 day break for her 85th birthday. Perfectly located and quirky we loved it. Fridge and table generously stocked for breakfast. Clean and tidy with everything you could want and much better suited to us than an impersonal hotel - and much less...

Had a 3 day stop over at this charming little bolt hole in the centre of Florence. Fantastic location, only a few streets away from the bridge and main piazza - you can even glimpse the palazzo vecchio from the living area. We travelled with two young kids and couldn't have had a more relaxing break. The apartment was very...

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights recently and couldn't have asked for a better location. The apartment was up 4 flights with timed lights which made for a dark trip first time until we worked these out. There is a lift but if was a tad tiny and after walking all day the extra excercise wasn't an issue....

I would gladly give it 4.5, but TripAdvisor didn't let me. We spent a glorious week in Florence in this appartment. We had everything: fabulous location, space (2 bedrooms, large bathroom, kitchen/living room), AC, well-stocked fridge and a very attentive and friendly owner (Franco). We would return to La Loggia, but would kindly ask Franco to repair the shower drain...

We (two couples) loved this apartment for our 3 nights in Florence. Franco (the owner) was very friendly, he greeted us on arrival, helped us with luggage, showed us the apartment, left us the keys and his telephone number, and the apartment was ours. The apartment is located in the heart of old Florence, 2 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.

“Send an email to Franco or call him about your arrival time. He will wait for you in the street, in front of the building. Street numbers on Via delle Terme are random, there is no card or hint on the ringers panel about La Loggia.”
