There is a reason this apartment/suite has no poor rating. The staff are excellent, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well furnished. The extras given are of great quality and truly appreciated. Wi-fi is great and based on floor by floor. The location, the heart of Firenze, next to the Duomo, in walking distance of the train station, the Uffizi...

An outstanding location second to none! You can watch details on the walls of the Duomo, hear and feel the ringing of the bells. We had the apartment on the sixth floor, so we were not disturbed by noise from the street. The staff was very polite and helpful and was present to welcome us even if we arrived close...

We checked in easily, tiny little elevator but it did mean we didn't have to carry things up stairs. We'd been upgraded to a Duomo view which was great. Very small kitchenette but you can manage with it. We were able to negotiate a check out of slightly later with ease. Only complaint was noise from the Piazza below, I...

Dear Guests, Thank you very much for your rewiew, I hope to see you next time, We'll give to you an upper floor. About the noise, we already changed the windows in a double glass, to have a better situation. It was not possible to change the windows, because of we are an historical building, and It's not possible to...

This luxury hotel overlooks the Duomo. Is in the heart of ten and walking distance to everywhere. Clean and comfortable rooms, well maintained, Expensive, but you do open your windows and can almost touch the Duomo. Will definitely stay again. Does have the smallest elevator I have ever seen though, so be prepared to make several trips with one suitcase...

An amazing apartment. We were in the two bedroom suite on the first floor with a balcony running the length of the apartment over the main duomo square - we felt, like previous posts, that we could reach out and touch the cathedral, and the views over the square and the baptistry could not be bettered. The staff, including the...

The hotel is in the restricted area of Florence and is so close to the Duomo. We felt like we could touch it from our room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had a two bedroom apartment which was a good size. One of the bedrooms had frescoes on the ceiling. The kitchen had everything that we needed....

Friendly staff. After checked-in, she showed us the places of interest which is all a walk-away from the hitel. Excellent location. And the apartment is beautifully decorated, painted ceiling and cleaned! I will definitely stay here again!

I stumbled across the front door to these apartments when I found myself unexpectedly needing a last minute place to stay as members of my family had travel delays in getting to Italy. Perfect location. Upgraded to two bedrooms, two bathrooms with windows that opened. View of Duomo right there! Agree that it can be a bit noisy at night, but worth it for the location and wonderful staff. They were available to answer any questions we had. Thank you!

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
