It is not close to anything. The apartment seems clean but me and my fiancé got bitten by sth on the bed. They are suppose to have 24s help desk and when we got there they were gone for the whole weekend. the older man that check us in late at night was extremely rude and unhappy. even for Italian...

My sister and I booked this hotel over Hotwire, thinking that we would be staying at a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately what we got was more like a 1 star hotel. Already at reception, we were welcomed by a man that seemed to hate his job, who was also slightly rude to us. Being someone who usually doesn't mind bad...

Pros. The space of room is very big, it's very good for everyone who want take loner trip (>1 week), but not suitable for <3 days travel. Cons. If you want live in this hotel, you should check the bus information.(There are several bus to the train station, Piazzale Michelangelo) The go and return bus path is not the same....

We booked this Hotel/Apartment through our Travel agent. The plus side was there were 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette. The negative side, The shower was tiny, So tiny I couldn't wash my feet and good luck to u in retrieving your soap if dropped. We stayed for 4 nights and there was no house keeping done at all. We had...

It's well placed a rather dark and musty old "mansion". It's not a hotel but apartments. Basic but adequate. The shower recess in our apartment was a case of a round peg in a square hole. Impossible to stoop or bend should you drop soap! Difficult to wash below waist but the plus is that one cannot fall over in...

We booked San Niccolo on Priceline since it was advertised as a hotel. It is not a hotel, it is an apartment. A very outdated apartment with no housekeeping services. The bathroom in our apartment had only a thin board connecting it to the apartment next door, and we could hear everything they were saying, plus it didn't feel very...

Having booked through lastminute.com this proved to be a good choice for visiting Florence while also providing a quiet retreat where we could cater for ourselves and have a glass of wine away from expensive restaurants when we wanted. In many ways this kind of residence style accommodation is a good compromise between a complete hotel based holiday and a...

We booked San Niccolo on Priceline as a 4-star hotel. I don't believe that this place should be advertised as such, but we couldn't do much about it. It was an apartment and not a hotel room and included no housekeeping. It was fine for our purposes since we were only staying 2 nights, but I would have been upset...

Resildence San Niccolo advertising is very mis-leading indeed as it would appear they have two types of accommodation available 1st the actual Apartment building it self as shown in the photos on the website and the 2nd be in a very old building on the opposite side of the car park with two separate apartments that is opened up by...

The Resildence San Niccolo is the perfect spot! We stayed a week. Our suite was very large and consisted of a large kithcn, living/dining room with TV and internet access. The shutters opened to the street on the Arno River, one bridge down from the Ponte Delvecchio. It was clean, comfortable, and within easy walking distance of everyhthing! The concierge...
