We stayed here for 4 nights with breakfast in February 2018.
The room we stayed in was in the 'Resort' and was very spacious, clean and tidy. Maids provided fresh towels most days, however, bring your own shower gels/shampoos as they do not replenish these....More
We were here on a guided tour. This was a good hotel. Good location, nice rooms and a good breakfast. We also saw the Duomo from our window (nice extra). We had a good time with some friends in the bar.
Very nice, modern clean hotel close to the train station. I would recommend. The bathoom is much larger than the other hotels we have visited in Italy. The overall design of the rooms are really hip and modern.
You will get the worst room if you stay only for one night.
(I asked for a different room since the room was freezing, but two of the staff for sure lied saying the hotel is full although on "Tripadvisor", the rooms were still available...More
We were here last year and liked the proximity to the train station as well as the hop on hop off bus starting points. There are many restaurants near by as well as some shopping areas. Rooms are clean and modern but they are small...More
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
