Rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms modern and with all necessities. Daily breakfast with boiled eggs and baked goods. Located very close to Duomo and everything else we wanted to see. Restaurants just out the door. Host was friendly and accommodated our late arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was very pleasant, the owner was very friendly and very attentive. The daily breakfast was plenty and had good enough variety. The location of the B&B is central to everything. One warning is that there is no lift so you will have to drag your luggage up three flights of stairs.

My husband and I stopped at the travel information directly across the way from the train station to get a map and directions. She told us that there is a city bus that could take you, but it is very small and usually crowded. We had too much luggage for that, but the walk really wasn't bad to the B&B....

Fantastic B&B. Great location. Super clean. Plentiful breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Up 2 flights of stairs so no good if you have mobility problems. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

we enjoyed our stay at Cimatori in Florence Italy. All staff are willing to help in arranging local transportation and other issues like early breakfast and early check out in the morning for us. Even before our arrival, inquiries were answered quickly. It makes planning our travelling schedule easy. Location is excellent, right in the centre of Florence. It takes...

My girlfriend and I really had an amazing stay at Cimatori. The location was perfect with just a stones throw from Santa Maria del Fiore and all the other amazing places in Florence. We both felt that Cimatori was highly personalized where Valeria immediately became a good friend. The breakfast contained everything that you could possibly ask for, and the...

Never expected this place to be so centralized and contemporary in their decoration. Wow! It was a surprise and we like this place very much. A highly recommended place to stay if you come to Florence. The lady (sorry that I forgot her name) at the small reception area was very helpful and the service provided by her is excellent....

We loved this place- excellent staff, the front desk is amazing. Breakfast is delicious- fresh baked croissants and delicious espressos! The room is well kept and clean. It's on the smaller side but it's still really nice. Would definitely stay again!

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
