We had booked a double bed room in this hotel for 3 nights. We reached Firenze SNM (Florence Santa Maria Novella) by train from Roma Termini at 1 p.m. on 25th June 2010. It is only a walkable distance from the station, but after spending sometime in cold climate of England, Scotland and France, we found the weather quite hot...

We only stayed in this hotel for 1 night and wish we had stayed longer. Roberto was the nicest staff member we had met in all of Italy; he took time to show us our room, how the A/C worked, TV, etc. The room itself was nice and clean. The beds were very hard but there were extra pillows and...

My partner was in for buisness and I was in for leisure and this was a perfect place. Close to all the tourist attractions for me and close to his conference. For the price of the hotel and it's close proximity to everything, including the train station, nothing came close. The hotel staff was wonderful and help us with all...

Simple hotel, very clean, smallish room, smaller bathroom but perfectly adequate. Everything worked well, good breakfast although it's a shame to have to pay €5 pp extra for it. The location is absolutely brilliant, minutes from Uffizi & main square, yet quiet at night. No complaints at all.

This was a very lucky find for us. It was a five minute walk from the train station with many restaurants and stores nearby. Breakfast is available onsite and the eating area is relaxing and a good way to begin your busy sightseeing day. Lorenzo and his staff were always available and very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious...

A+ A+ A+! This was a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a good price and good location. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station, yet is central to all the top sites and places, including il Duomo and Piazza Repubblica. The Lorena staff was exceptionally helpful - my friend and I needed help...

This place is located really well, 5 minutes from the SMN train station and 5 minutes walk to the Duomo. You have free Wi-Fi in the room (you get the password on check-in). The room was large, and the beds were very comfortable with hard matresses. The front desk was very friendly and patient. He even allowed us to sit...

My husband and I chose this hotel based on the recommendations of TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Such a charming little place. The host were so very gracious and nice. Free WI-FI. Excellent location, we walked easily to the Duomo, to the Accademia Gallery and train station. The local market was literally outside on a side street. The...

Room was very large as was the bathroom which was great. Beds also very comfortable. Only issue was the aircon did not work and even in October is was warm enough to want it. Had to leave the windows open instead so got the noise from the street. Good location to go walking around Florence. Didn't have breakfast at the...
