The Hotel Colomba's location is very good... just a few minutes walk north to the Galleria or south to the Duomo, and maybe a 15 minute walk to the Ufizzi or river. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable with a regular bathroom and a small flat-screen TV. The room had its own air conditioner, which managed to...

Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Colomba. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Convenient location close enough to the train station, bus terminal, and main attractions. Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate to get your day started. The staff made you feel at home.

My friend and I had the good fortune to stay at the Colomba for a week, and cannot praise it highly enough. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with well equipped bathrooms, with a powerful shower, bidet, and more than adequate provision of soap, shampoo, bath foam, etc. There was a wide choice of foods for breakfast and, as mentioned...

We stayed for just one night in a quad room. The room was spacious(huge), immacutely clean and comfortable. The owners and staff made us feel at home immediately with their warm welcome. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to everything then this is the place to book. The breakfast was just great. Internet was free. The positive...

At Hotel Colomba we found a gem of a place. it had everything we could have hoped for in a hotel...clean...large rooms...friendly staff. The manager spoke perfect English and had lots of suggestions for things we could go see and do. It was in easy distance to many attractions which made moving around the city with children so much easier...

It says it was a 3 star hotel -- it's a 5 star hotel for location as we were able to come back to the hotel throughout the day to freshen up or drop off our purchases. The manager/owners are 5 star helpful and pleasant, very refreshing especially after a stay in Paris. We had a quad room, which was...

This isn't a luxury hotel, of course, so don't expect that. But it's a very nice hotel for the price, and it offers everything that a tourist could ask for: -a great location in the heart of Florence, equidistant from the Piazza della Signoria area and the more northern sites like the Accademia -very friendly, charming, and accommodating staff, in...

My sister, boyfriend and I all enjoyed our stay tremendously. The room we were given was very spacious, and it remained cold and air conditioned throughout our stay. The bathroom was quite large, and the rooms were immaculately cleaned by housekeeping each day. Moreover, the COMPLIMENTARY morning breakfast was fantastic: we enjoyed fresh apricot juice, orange juice, a spread of...

The Hotel Colomba was just wonderful. We had an extended stay, and it really was like a home away from home. The staff are helpful, friendly, and generous with suggestions without being invasive. The location is excellent, minutes away from the Duomo, and in close walking distance to everything. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and well fitted out, and we...

I stayed at hotel Colomba 2 nights ago with my family and we absolutely adored it! The location is perfect, 2 minutes from the Duomo, the leather market, the David and other sites. The rooms were VERY large, so comfortable and nicely air conditioned. The wireless is free which is a HUGE bonus. We felt very safe staying there, as...
