My bf & I were pleasantly surprised at what a great experience we had at this hostel. It's our first time traveling abroad together and this was the only hostel we booked during our trip between Rome, Florence & Venice. First of all, we loved the location! It's super close to the train station and only a short walk to...

I booked a bed in a shared room for 3 nights in october. The staff at reception were not very welcoming and quite firm and unfriendly. The room was as expected, very crowded, but clean and also the bathroom was reasonably clean. The breakfast was ok, a choice of cooked or cold dishes. On the website they gave the impression...

As a lone female traveller, I stayed two nights. Excellent location as fairly close to the station and close to historical sights. I was in a 6 person dorm and it was spotless, as was the bathroom. Good sized locker in the room, computer in the room and 6 or 8 computers in the lobby area. The restaurant was also...

This was our first stay in a Hostel. We chose a private room, but enjoyed the energetic, fun vibe of the place! Room was somewhat outdated but clean, with a small refrigerator. Bathroom was very clean and looked newly remodeled. Breakfast is included. We ate there the first morning and not again after that. There is way too much wonderful...

The hostel itself seemed pretty nice and the staff were friendly BUT we had booked the Annex, and the Annex was NOT in the hostel, it was next door in the next building. 70 steps up (with no lift) (7 FLIGHTS OF STEEP STEPS!). Pros: Our room had a computor. Cons: The steps (i'm 26 and fit girl and they...

I am currently staying in a private rom at the Archi Rossi which I booked on the basis of the good reviews. Unfortunately, none of them mentioned how noisy the hostel is until late at night. Groups of youngsters are coming and going through the hallways all night, shouting and making a lot of noise. In the mornings you have...

I stayed with my girlfriend at the Archi Rossi for 3 nights in August. The hostel is perfectly located. Extremely friendly, clean and comfortable. Cheap and delicious food, helpful staff and interesting people. A little loud at night if your room faces the courtyard, but it is a hostel and most guests are university aged travellers. Will definitely return to...

The hostel is really close to the train station and the main attractions of Florence, so it was very easy to get around on foot. My friends and I joined the free walking city/heritage tours in the morning which I felt were really informative and interesting - a great way to see and know Florence for someone who's there for...
