This is an older hotel located from the old city, about 15 minute walk away. This is a big plus in Florence, considering the crazy foot traffic in the center, especially on the weekend (doesn't stop until 5PM). The train station is about 10 minutes...More

The room was very big, as well as the toilet. The receptionists were really kind, and breakfasts were excellent.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
