We stayed in this hotel on 4/24 and could not be happier. I mean that. We stayed at room 31 and it had a big comfortable bed, a nice size closet, a wonderful, very clean bathroom, but above all, a balcony and an incredible view!!! We were in Italy for a week and this hotel was our best hotel experience....

The hotel is nice and clean and near post office (easy to exchange currency) and trains! Not a far walk to the plaza. Very quiet. Breakfast was also great. This place has a media center where you can watch television/relax/work/surf internet. Did I mention free wifi? Only thing I would suggest is to have a safe room for luggage for...

We received a great deal on tripadvisor for this hotel. It is perfectly located in central Florence. The little balcony's off the room are so quaint and relaxed, and the rooms are spacious and clean. One fun tip- everything in the stocked mini bar is free for the first use!

The rooms are small, but functional. We stayed 5 nights. Staff was helpful, and the location, directly looking at the Duomo, cannot be beat. We did niot take advantage of breakfast buffet (at $10 E seemed a little high), as there are numerous places in the areas to get a quick cup of coffee and pastry. If we return to...

Look no further; this is the ONLY place to stay when in Florence. The Duomo is so close you can touch it! Best location, great room, front desk most helpful and accommodating. You feel like you are staying in someone's home. Our daughter is studying abroad and this is close to school and every attraction Florence offers. Highly recommend and...

This hotel is located directly next to the Duomo, in the heart of Florence. It is a quick walk from the San Lorenzo leather market, and minutes from the Ponte Vecchio. Florence is easy to visit on foot, and the Hotel Duomo Firenze puts you in a central location to walk to the Accademia, Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens, Piazza...

From the moment we checked in to the Hotel Duomo, we were treated exceptionally well by the front desk staff, who was helpful in arranging taxis, and figuring out train schedules. The room had a balcony from which the Duomo was a spectacular view. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, and the entire experience was a pleasure!

As the title says, one of the best hotels we stayed at in Europe. Value for money and you couldn't be closer to everything. Folk i out the extra for a duomo facing room and open the windows to let the street music in. Well worth it!

We stayed at the Hotel Duomo for Honeymmon in Florence, and the staff were very helpful in all aspects of our stay. Even helping us book a shuttle bus to the Bologna Airport after a mixup of airports. The hotel is in a wonderful neighborhood convenient and in walking distance to everything of note in Florence. Also the in-house breakfast...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
