We were looking for a hotel close to San Lorenzo Square and were very pleased when we arrived and the Central Market and leather market were only a short block away. The location was perfect. It was a nice walk to all of the important points of interest in Florence as well as the train station. We were greeted by...

We chose Hotel Botticelli for our first ever trip to the Renaissance city, and we were quite happy with our choice. It is located within walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella station. The hotel entrance is located in a narrow alley (like many other old structures in Florence). The hostess at the reception gave us a warm welcome and...

After having a stressful time getting to Florence, I was made to feel welcome and distressed almost immediately. The room was nothing great to shout about however, I will say it was clean and very comfortable. Staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the location of the hotel meant I was in walking distance of the...

Nice hotel, just be sure to ask for a room AWAY from the walkway. Everynight at 2am, we were awakened by people coming home from bars. at 5am we were awakened by the men pushing their souvenir carts down to the square. If you can't get a room away from the sidewalk, book elsewhere. Train and so many attractions are...

Train / bus station and duomo are both less than 10 mins walk away and you also have quite a lot of cheaper supermarkets nearby. Couldn't ask for a better location. Friendly staff and free continental breakfast. Fast wifi (trust me, that's not a given) Photos on the site are accurate.

A great hotel, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location was ideal, close to the old market area, with it's brilliant food stalls and only a short walk to the galleries and train station. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful when our flight home was cancelled at short notice. Breakfasts were very good, with lots of choice,

A lovely hotel, well located, good customer service. Nice room, much appreciated air con in the room as it was over 100 degrees during our visit! Comfy bed, good sized room/bathroom. Fantastic that the hotel left a bouquet of flowers as requested-thank you. Florence-amazing as always. We caught the train to Pisa, the station around 8 mins walk from the...

Cecile at the front desk was amazing. The location was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. The only thing was the noise at night, and the rooms could use updating. Lots of places to eat nearby, and loads of shopping. I would have appreciated a "Do not disturb" sign. We had to go through the front desk to let the cleaning staff...

We arrived by train and didn't have very far to walk to find this hotel, once we had found our bearings. The Receptionist was very friendly and helpful on arrival. Our room was on the second floor at the back of the building which although very small and basically furnished was spotlessly clean. There is a small terrace on the...

I love this hotel! It's a small place on a side street, but the rooms were nice and clean. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's within walking distance of everything in Florence. So, every morning after I had breakfast at the hotel, I'd set out to check out this beautiful city. From the Uffuzi Gallery to the...
