Lovely welcome and a good hotel ideally situated both for the main market and for many local restaurants. Try the food in the market - lots of options. Short walk to all the sights but the hotel manages to be a little off the beaten...More
Clean and comfortable. Well located for the Uffizi, the Academia, the central market, and lots of restaurants. Reasonable breakfast got the days off to a good start. Friendly staff. Not posh with lots of facilities but just what we wanted for a four day visit.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
