Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Bigallo. Amazing location literally a stones throw from the duomo. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was right off the breakfast room but was well insulated from noise with a double door. The only negative about our stay was...More
This hotel is old and full of character, in a good way overall! Getting to the lobby with your luggage involves cramming one person into the tiny elevator and then having the other run to the 3rd floor to meet you there, haha. Great for...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

Thank you for your question.
The garage is located in Via del Giglio nr. 24/red, it is not too far from the Hotel, which is in Vicolo degli Adimari nr. 2 (about 5 minutes on foot). You can also drive directly to the Hotel and leave the car in front of the entrance, and then we will call the garage: a driver will come to pick up the car.
We would like to inform you that we are located at the third floor of an old building, and that we have an elevator to reach the third floor, but it is not very big and you have to climb a few steps (about 5) to reach the elevator. We prefer to inform our you advance about this, in case your mother has trouble climbing steps.
