we booked online, and had a few questions before we traveled. we could tell from the quick and helpful replies that Hotel Mario's would be good. it is ideally located on via Faenza which leads all the way to the centre of the city. you have to keep an eye out to find the entrance which leads to the rooms... This B&B is located very close to the train station which is its biggest USP. The staff are quite nice too & helped out streamlining my sightseeing plans. The breakfast was decent enough. However the room I was put up in was quite small. Just a bed. My shower was out of the room but private - no regrets here... More

Our stay was great! It came in handy to have the hotel near the train station and the city center in a nice area. The best part was definitely having Leo give us dining recommendations. We absolutely loved Carmine and we wouldn't have had the most delicious pasta if it wasn't for Leo. So thank you!! If I had to... More

Excellent location beside the attractions and the rest is fine. Friendly stuff helped us and suggest nice places and activity to do. The Rooms are okay clean but, small not like the picture. Bathroom is modern and nice but very small Breakfast is fine but not a lot of variety

The staff were very helpful and accommodating during our visit and they made sure we felt welcome. The hotel is in a central location so it's easy to get around. The staff are very polite and friendly. The negatives would be: 1. The room felt unclean, there were squashed bugs on the walls and the bathroom and bedroom were not... More

We were really happy with our stay at Hotel Mario's. The prices were very reasonable. It was in a great location in Florence, close to many tourist attractions, the train station and on a quiet street with great restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was so pretty inside. The room and ensuite were spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were so... More

With an excellent location and breakfast, Hotel Mario's was perfect for our 3 day stay in Florence. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful, whether that be making you a coffee, suggesting restaurants, or booking tours for you. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had quick wifi and cool air conditioning.

This is a great basic hotel near the train station that offers breakfast with your booking. Rooms are fine with bathrooms that have separate shower and doors that close so water is not all over bathroom. This hotel is on the second floor so if that is an issue for you this might not be your best bet. Also, AC... More

This hotel was wonderful for our 4 night stay in Florence. The location couldn't be better- just a 10 minute walk from the most popular square (with the Duomo) and easy enough to cross the river, yet we heard absolutely no road noise. The staff here were all lovely and provided everything we needed to make our stay wonderful, they... More
