Loved it here - the location was THE BEST, there are a few very cool restaurants/bars right down the street and virtually around the corner is the Ponte Vecchio. The tower view is phenominal, breakfast was great, staff was kind and helpful. Easy in/out from the train station. Rooms were very old as expected, but clean and roomy......my travel partner...

Ciao NinNewYork! Thanks for your cool review! The coolest is that your travel partner felt the spirit of a little girl. It's indeed a very old building and many many years and centuries ago, wealthy families lived in it and a lot happened within these walls. It's a true piece of history! Next time you visit, tell me about it,...

This hotel deserves more than a 3 star rating. We recently stayed for two nights and found the hotel to have the best view of the city from their exclusive "Tower". The Tower not only offers great views, it also has a nice wine bar that offers some light snacks and drinks. The breakfast is typical "Italy" but nicely done....

My sister, niece and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May 2012. We loved it! The building itself was impressive, from the large front door, to the wonderful view from the tower, but the front desk staff was even better! Unfortunately, I cannot remember one of the older gentleman's name, but I actually said that he was...

I absolutely loved this hotel, the ambiance is amazing. The location is perfect, we were able to see so many things because so much is within walking distance. The breakfasts were wonderful and the breakfast room was warm and sunny. The view from the tower is so great that I saved my knees from climbing up the Duomo or Clocktower...

Hi husker78 Wow, that makes our staff and me super proud, that our Hotel was the favorite of your trip! The very high ceilings are coming from the fact, that the Hotel is in a 13th century building, where dimensions where different to nowadays structures. It gives an airy feeling and is typical for the oldest buildings in Florence. That...

Unfortunately we only had one night in this hotel but it was memorable. We had a large junior suite with a lovely large window that opened to the street below. The bathroom was also large and the only suggestion would be to put a shower curtain up to the bath and perhaps have the shower hooked on the wall but...

Ciao Melanie K Grazie mille for this kind review! It's too bad you had only one night with us but on the other hand very nice, that you took the chance to hang out on the Tower Bar. I truly hope you can make it back soon, right now the evenings are very pretty with warm weather and beautiful sunsets....

This hotel is a gem. From the huge, imposing front door to the quaint rooms and everything in between. We stayed in the top room with the patio. I am so glad we paid the extra money for this room. I can't imagine not having it after enjoying the patio every day. The staff was very kind and helpful suggesting...

Location is good Had to park the car a few blocks away and walk. Later I parked the car for €26. Great and caring service from the younger gentleman with glasses. Dear neildeal Thanks for your opinion about our Hotel. I hope you stay with us again, next time you visit Florence. The provider for the free WiFi resolved the weak signal in the meantime and you mentioned it correctly, we do not provide WiFi in the rooms, but in the spacious living room.
