We stayed there for two nights during the first week of June. The service and the hotel itself are simply wonderful. Excellent breakfast, nice large rooms with modern bathrooms and the view from the roof terrace is simply stunning. It's perfectly placed for wondering around this romantic city as you're minutes from everywhere. Reception will point you in the direction...

We stayed here for three nights in June, 2013. Be aware!!! Due to construction, it is impossible to get there, though they did have someone come out and meet us and the car was parked a few minutes away. This is an older hotel in a PERFECT location with great sitting room areas. There is a cool tower with a...

Rather small and simple hotel in the very centre of Firenze (near Ponte Vecchio) in and old building with high ceilings . The most attractive and interesting thing- is a kind of tower on the roof from where you may observe the city. Very beautiful!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time. Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful. Our room was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It is in a perfect location and within a few blocks of many of the main attractions. The tower offers an amazing view of Florence- we really enjoyed...

The location is great; only 1 block from the Ponte Vecchio and walking distance to all the main attractions, yet on a small side street away from the hustle and bustle. The rooftop terrace is the best feature of this hotel, providing 360 degree beautiful views of the city; a perfect spot to watch the sunset with a bottle of...

Torre Guelfa Hotel was by far my favorite hotel out of the 4 hotels we stayed in on our trip to Italy. I was very impressed with the service. Everyone was so helpful and ready to give recommendations and make reservations for us. I appreciated the 24hr. service at the front desk as most of the hotels we stayed at...

I agree wholeheartedly with other reviewers who have said that the tower is enough of a draw but is by no means the only reason to choose Torre Guelfa. The location is fantastic. It was a quick cab ride from the train station, and we could walk to any site in Florence within about 15 minutes. Our room was on...

The maintenance could improve on the cleanliness of the rooms. The location is perfect for all the main attractions. Valentina was exceptional. She manages the bar at the tower and also can be seen at breakfast. She provided a personal tour of the skyline from the top of the tower which made the trip extra special!

We stayed a full week at this hotel. The hotel staff were most helpful and very tolerant of Amercan tourists. (Some American tour groups were a bit loud and obnoxious, trying my patience, but the hotel staff were always courteous). The breakfast was very good with service to match. The tower view from the wine bar was worth the hike....

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries.
