We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Cinzia with the warmest of welcomes. We felt very much at home. Cinzia took the time to explain how everything worked in the hotel. Actually we called it our apartment as it felt as if we...More
The room was stunning, every detail thought out. Breakfast was delicious and generous and although we keep kosher we had quite a few choices- and great coffee. Anything we needed; advice, even a microwave was brought down from their private home for us.
This is a good choice for a stay in Florence. The rooms are large, modern and comfortable on one floor of an 1865 Belle Epoca building. It is family owned and operated and the hosts were exceptionally gracious. Their recommendations on restaurants and touring options...More

Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. As a hub for young people, the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated by songs and dances.

Apologies for the delay in replying. It takes about 20-25 mins from the airport in a taxi. We arrived by train from Venice and it was only a 10 minute ride from the train station. When flying home, it couldn't have been easier - there is a button you press in the hotel and a taxi turned up 10 minutes later. I think it was about €25 with a tip.
I would thoroughly recommend this place.
