We stayed a couple of days at this hotel. It is located on the edge of downtown. You can walk along the Arno river to the city's attractions. The staff is friendly. Our room was not large, but clean and fresh with noiseless air-con. The breakfast was like at the most Italian hotels (with not much of a choice). I...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our stay in Florence for 3 nights. It is a beautiful hotel with very nice staff members. And to save money on the taxi, the city center is about 25-30 min walk along the river which is a beautiful walk at night. This hotel is located 2 bridges away from Ponte...

Our family of four stayed here during a Trafalgar tour. Many of our arrangements were pre-arranged, so we did not have to ask for much. The only thing that I needed was a iron, but alas, Italian hotels don't have them! Bring one if you need it. The room was OK. On the small side, but we expected that. It...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our Italian Concerto with Trafalgar tours in July 2012. The hotel was lovely, clean, spacious and air conditioned. The bathrooms were great. No complaints about the rooms or the service. The buffet breakfast was good, except there was no fresh fruit. We had a tour of the main attractions in the...

Very busy hotel catering (when we were there) for coach parties which were a bit overwhelming when we were 2 trying to check in! Good sized twin room and the breakfast was very good. It was a bit of a trek for my elderly Mum to get to the centre of things - a good 15 minute walk along the...

If your into vintage rooms then this is for you. If you can get passed the decor then the smell of the air conditioning might be what gets you. We did have decent service when a problem was found it was fixed with minimal fuss. It is the pit stop for all tours so if looking for small and not...

Stayed for 2 nights in a junior suite. Awesome room with two balconies over looking Arno River on one side and Florence Center on the other. Room was very clean, large and comfortable. Common areas were also very clean, spacious and well appointed. We left a jacket at the hotel and the staff went out of their way to get...

The hotel was in a good location. That is the only positive thing I can share. This hotel bathrooms have the smallest possible bathrooms with the smallest showers. We were there with a group and many had smaller showers than we did. There is not way more than one person could be in there unless one person was in the...

We benefitted from a very good rate negotiated by our travel agent. So for the money, it was quite alright. It was not memorable, it did the job. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Service at time was a bit slow, maybe because it was at the weekend
