Stayed for couple of nights in September. The apartment is newly and fully renovated. It is spacious and full of light. There is a beautiful large garden to relax over a capuccino and a book. The design successfully combines the authentic Fiorenine interior structures and ultra modern utilities. You can easily and quickly get to the center by car or...

We stayed in Dario Apartment for five days in September. The first thing that greeted us were the lovely smiling faces of Rosaria and Luca who were incredibly welcoming and informative. They took the time not only to show us everything in the apartment but then walked us around the local area and took us to some of thier favourite...

Our stay for our family of 5 was wonderful. The apartment is newly renovated, beautiful original windows, balcony overlooking private garden and all necessary amenities. Walking distance to local shops and trattorias. Walking or easy transportation to all major sites and areas of Florence. Near enough to tourist attractions but enough distance to feel nestled in the real community of...

We have just came back from Italy where we have stayed for totally a month, but this was our favourite accomodation at all. Even if it's not in the heart of Florence is not that far and you can easily walk everywhere from there. The place is very clean and very quiet. The best: The garden is awsome (hard to...

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
