Florence, Italy

We stayed few nights at "Hotel Atlantic Palace" in November 2016. Atlantic Hotel Palace has a great location, and it's very convenient if you are coming to Florence by train, as the hotel is near the train station. Florence's main attractions are all nearby and just a few minutes of walk away: Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Mercato Centrale, etc. The...

Lovely hotel with large comfortable rooms. We reserved a twin and got a suite with a jacuzzi, double sinks and freestanding shower and two double beds. I think some of this is luck of the draw but even the rooms we saw that were being cleaned were lovely, though not as large. Fabulous breakfast with everything you could want. It's...

Perfectly good hotel but a bit tired. The room was narrow and very shabby with a fair bit of noise from adjoining rooms. Our room overlooked a small (sort of) court yard with fire escapes. These were used for smokers - so we had to close our window a lot. Terrible bar - no real choice, but lots of bars...

First of all, this hotel is near the train station, so do not bother getting a taxi for a five minute walk! Secondly it is located on a busy, noisy road. Traffic noise complete with hooting, loud crowds late at night and a ridiculous need for cars and buses to hoot constantly, meant that it is ideal for an insomniac...

The location is close (walking distance to train station) and in the center of Florence. However, the beds are somewhat soft and it is a little noisy. The latter can be excused with the fact that it is an old building. We were on the third floor and had a great view over the roofs ..... but thats not why...

We stayed at this hotel that looks very upmarket on Website but room was disappointing. Lobby is lovely with antique lightening and furniture. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. In a good location close to sightseeing and station, there is also a great restaurant next door called Osteria All Antico Mercato. Lyn and Ian Cameron

this was our second visit, the first time we stayed on the top floor, this time we were on the first floor, we heard every conversation in the room next door, on one occasion she spoke in Italian for two solid hours until 11pm when her child went to bed. This was too much, door slamming woke us through the...

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who talked us through the hotel and the places to visit in Florence. She was very helpful. The hotel was an ideal focal point in the city. Well placed for all the interesting places. 5 minutes walk from the bus and train station. Breakfast was great with a great choice of...
