We are just home in Australia from a 5 week trip away in Europe so I MUST write this review before I forget to! Hotel David, for us, was the perfect choice. Not some high rise impersonal place where you’re just a number but room...More
My friend and I stayed here for two days while travelling through Italy. We loved everything about this hotel! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable (hard to find in Italy), the room was spacious and clean and had a nice terrace overlooking the street....More

Hi I don’t think it matters whether you have a balcony. We had one and it was nice but didn’t spend much time on it. Our grown up kids did not have balconies and didn’t mind. All of the rooms were more spacious than I expected from a city hotel. Nicely furnished and comfortable. The outside terrace provides nice outdoor space. Florence takes a lot of walking- when you come back it’s a perfect place to put your feet up and lie on the bed with a beer or cold water from the fridge. Loved the hotel. I’d say don’t worry which room.

Hi the website says the Comfort Room with balcony has a balcony. It doesn’t say a triple room does have a balcony but I only saw 3 of their rooms and we were very happy with them. The downstairs outdoor space is quiet and lovely too. Hope that helps.
