We booked this hotel via a tour company and could not have been happier. Upon arriving by bus from our "home base" near Tarvarnelle in Val de Pesa, we had an easy walk to the hotel. The maps we had did not give very good walking directions but it was not a major inconvenience. First of all, this hotel is...

Like other reviewers have stated, the rooms are not huge but most hotel rooms in Europe aren't. Additionally, the shower was almost too small to fit in and the bathroom and air conditioner were undersized. On the other hand, the location is terrific and the staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast is very good as well. Being able to...

While not overly luxurious, the Hotel Cellai is a good hotel for many reasons. Located a bit away from the touristy areas, it’s a quick walk to the major Florence sights. The rooms are well appointed, and the breakfast buffet was rather large. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and offered up some great...

The location of the hotel was convenient to everything and lobby was pretty but the room 131 was an afterthought at the end of the hall. 4 ft wide- once you open the door there was two single beds diagonal from each other with very high dirty upholstered head/foot boards. Dark thick carpeting on the floor- not a fan of...

Dear Guest, the room you booked was described to you in terms of size and layout at the moment of the reservation. We offered you 3 solutions with 3 different sizes and prices. The room you chose was the less expensive and the smallest one. We only got two rooms of this size in the entire Hotel for guests willing...

This is a great little hotel. Stayed twice over two weekends in in May. On the first check in they upgraded our room which was spacious and comfortable. The room on the second weekend was small and cramped and made for a somewhat unrelaxing feel. Despite this, everything in both rooms was clean and well decorated. The rest of the...

Hotel cellai is a wonderful small boutique hotel to base a stay in Florence. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms very comfortable. Excellent breakfast included. Centrally located and easy walk to all the major sights in Florence. The rooftop terrace is a relaxing spot for a glass of wine and to enjoy a rooftop view of the city....

The Hotel Cellai is a wonderfully eclectic place to base your visit to beautiful Florence. You have to be prepared to walk if you visit Florence, but this hotel is conveniently located to make all that necessary walking easier. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, and efficient, and the decor of the entire hotel (our room as well as the...

What a charming 4* hotel, at reasonable price ... a little bit old fashioned and classic style, but what a great Tuscan (and big) bathroom with tremendous shower. You're at 10 minutes walking from Florence central station and 2 blocks away from the famous Duomo in Florence.

Stayed here as responsible for a Swedish group of 27. They were in love from the very beginning, beautifully furnished, help yourself bar (sign it to your room). Complimenatary afternoon tea, fabulous breakfast buffet and the most charming staff to take care of you. Italy as people imagine it to be - thank you so much for this excellent stay!

I had spent a marvelous weekend in this charming boutique hotel during the Easter holiday. It is extremely well decorated and clean, the room was small but cozy, full of beautiful ancient paintures. The staff was nice and helpful, breakfast was enchanting, you could really feel the Easter's atmosphere with the big chocolate egg, everything well decorated for Easter. I...
