Wife and I stayed at the Laurus while we were in Florence. This hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful. The room was bigger then we had expected. The bathroom was also big and the shower worked great. Free Wi Fi and it worked perfectly. The location was perfect, about a block away from the Duomo and...

Lovely immaculately clean hotel. Good room size. In an ideal location for those travelling from Pisa to Florence. Approx 200m on foot from station. Very central and had a wonderful view of the Duomo from restaurant. Staff very pleasant.

This was our first trip to Florence and we selected Hotel Laurus based on TripAdvisor recommendations. What an excellent choice it was too. Perfectly located within easy walk from train station and right down the street from the Duomo. The staff was welcoming and our room was great - large bedroom/sitting area, balcony, bathroom. Located on the 6th floor we...

Not really deserving of a 4 star rating. Small basic rooms with little in the way of amenities you would expect. Despite being on our honeymoon were given what must have been one of the worst rooms. View of a roof, noisy and smelt of smoke even though non smoking. No room service or mini bar and tea or coffee...

The location is excellent just along from the Duomo. With the hotel being so good, with friendly staff and good attention to detail. My wife has Coeliac which means no wheat etc. I had informed the hotel before hand and they took notice as each morning at breakfast there was a tray of gluten free products for her. Our room...

We enjoyed a few days here before moving on to Bardolino in the Lakes. The hotel is cool, centrally situated and well furnished. Our room was huge. The young man on the desk was extra helpful, recommending local restaurants which we found were value for money and full of local colour. The breakfasts were served on a terrace with fantastic...

If you want to stay in a nice corporate hotel with little personality in a great location - this is it. Staff is kind of cold, not unfriendly but stiff. Breakfast above average - outside deck on 6th floor a plus.

Rooms were spacious and clean. bathroom was modern. Our room had a little terrace with chairs/table, and a view of the Duomo. The location is great, just about 100m from the Duomo. Free wifi available.

This is a great place to stay. Very easy walk to the station and right near the duomo. Could walk to everything. And the breakfast balcony has a fantastic view. Breakfast was good and rooms quite spacious. would recommend asking for a room with a view.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in this hotel in central Florence. The location was excellent with the Duomo being 5 minutes away, and all shopping and restaurants within easy access. The AC was dismal and although the weather was not that warm we had to leave the windows open through the night just to make the room bearable...
