The hotel was right in the centre of activity in Florence and also only a short walk from the train station. All the well known fashion shops and tourist destinationswere close by and the whole area just had a nice feel to it. The immaculate room appeared to have been recently refurbished, it had a lovely warm wooden floor and...

My girlfriend and I visited Florence for three nights in February, for a romantic, sight-seeing break. Hotel Laurus was ideally located in the centre of town (seconds away from the Duomo, shops, restaurants and market square). The room was adequately sized, very clean, with modern furniture and shower/bathroom facilities, LCD TV (international channels), safe and air conditioning. Our only suggestion...

I couldn't be happier with my stay at the Laurus. I usually stay at 5 star hotels but figured I'd try the Laurus because it was so close to the city center. I'm so glad I did! First of all the service was five star. I came in at 7am asking if I could leave my bag and come back...

This is jtust a block down from the Duomo, putting you at the center of Florence. Even though the location is central, they did some kind of miracles with the windows that ensure absolute silence unless you open them! Our rooms had great views. The breakfasts are great for Americans. And, whenever we had a question, we got a prompt,...

The hotel is located in the centre of town close to the Duomo. The service was good, particularly at the bar in the evening, and everything worked well. Only negative is that the rooms are rather small (typically european) and the bed rather hard.

Excellent location - close to train sttaion and historic buildings. However room was smelling cigarettes despite having asked for non smoking room. Buffet breakfast was inadequate and one of the poorest in all the hotels in Italy we stayed.

Am now officially Best Western member... Came via train from Roma Termini to Firenze SMN. Location is very good- centre of everything and very near to Duomo. Locating hotel upon reaching SMN was a breeze- slight walk less than 10mins. Was greeted with lovely staff and took out luggages immediately as the room was being cleaned. Walk thru with us...

This is a wonderful hotel in a perfect location. It is within a short walk of the train station, and mere steps to one of the most beautiful squares in Florence. The location really couldn't be better. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The rooms...
