We stayed here for three nights in the run up to Christmas. A beautiful, comfortable hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious and well appointed, the bed large and very comfortable. The rooms were efficiently and regularly serviced without it being intrusive. The breakfast buffet seemed to include everything you might want...

Great location, within walking distance of the train station & Duomo right in the heart of Florence. The hotel is built around a 6th century Justinian tower, but don't let that scare you away because the hotel is completely modern, they just incorporated the tower within the building. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished with a view overlooking...

My family and I visited this exquisite hotel and were truly blown away with the quality of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. The location is perfect - 5 min drive from the train station and right in the heart of beautiful Florence. On our first day my wife asked for directions to a store to find a lint...

A wonderful stay from start to end. We were very kindly given a courtesy upgrade on arrival which was a lovely surpise! The room was beautiful and immaculately clean, the bed super comfy! The staff were all very helpful and secured us reservations at 3 restaurants - no mean feat! A gorgeous, extremely well run hotel that is slap bang...

The very best location in the city. Near the Duomo, which on its own is worth your trip to Florence. Friendly enough reception. They seemed to speak just about any language. It is beautiful and luxurious. The room we had was pretty small, had no proper closet and the bathroom had a see through door.. Also our room was a...

I will never stay anywhere else in Florence! Beautiful hotel within walking distance to all of the major sights. Tucked away in the perfect spot, contemporary mixed with the beauty and elegance of Florence. I adored our time there. 5 star experience without the 5 star price .

Beautiful Hotel! Staff was super attentive. What wonderful people at this hotel. Extremely helpful and an absolute delight to deal with. Nothing was beyond the staff, to help and assist. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
