Beside the good location. The following can be improved. 1. The staff at the reception is never without smile. In fact, I felt I am being discriminated being an asian. I have never had any greetings nor at least a smiley face. They almost always frowning all the time. I would expect something better front line staff for a 4...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week in November. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is walking distance to most tourist sites, across the street from the Santa Maria Novella Station, where many tours meet, and there are many good restaurants just a few blocks away. The hotel itself had everything we...

I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Albani in November this year. My first choice was the Mercure next door but the Mercure was full so I decided to give it a try especially as I could book the hotel though accor.com and get some credit for the nights through Accor hotel membership program. The hotel is simply majestic, I have...

Spend some nights for business. Nice welcome, typical Italian style, rooms are not big but cosy, breakfast is good, service is correct and helpful. Located near the train station and near downtown...5/10 minutes from Dôme and historical-touristic points. Price is correct.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights while visiting Florence for the first time. This hotel is in a GREAT location! It is a less than 5-minute walk to the train station and is very close to the main attractions of Florence. The staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending nearby restaurants (which were delicious). The complimentary breakfast was...

We stayed at the Albani Firenze for four nights as part of a small boat cruise/land tour that ended in Florence. The hotel is near the main train station, MacDonalds, Burger King, and a million tourists. On the plus side: Albani Firenze is one of the prettiest hotels that I've stayed in for a long time--including an all marble bathroom...

Dear Mr. Jeff, Thank you for you review. Your comments help us to do better and better, unfortunately at beginning of October is unusual to be cold in Florence, and in our Hotel we cannot turn the heating on before switching the air conditioning off, and before November we are not allowed to turn the heating on... sorry for that,...

Good location when you travel like us by train. Nice rooms, but very hot. Airco was not working (well). Breakfast very ok. Breakfast staff and concierge/luggage man very friendly but the reception lady we had 2x times is horrible: not even an goodday. A pity for this overall ok hotel.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I will start with the: Cons: The room was very very hot and stuffy!!!! Apparently there wasn't an AC or it wasn't working I'm not sure but from reading a previous review it seems that the temp is controlled centrally so the hotel decided to have the heating on. Wish it could have been controlled manually because it was so...

Dear Madame, Thank you for your accurate review. In our Hotel if the heating is on we cannot switch to air conditioning on, and viceversa. I am sorry that you had an unpleasant sleep, maybe if you would have told us, we could have changed your room. We are pleased that you liked the hotel, the breakfast and the service....

I picked this hotel for my husband and I because of its proximity to the train station. We have stayed in the area before and liked it. You are within walking distance of the Duomo, maybe 10 minutes from the Arno River, just a few blocks from the train station, and just a few mins walk to streets of a...

Nice and quite hotel. Very cozy, good service. They gave us a welcome basket fruit and drink in the room. The rooms are clean, good WiFi connection and tasty breakfast. Four hotel starts, prize and hotel reasonable. Very good location.
