We are a family with three kids and spent one week at Podere La Valle. The location is ideal for exploring not only Florence but the whole Tuscany (if you have a car). This is a very charming villa with several apartments. From the moment we arrived until we left, the owners made us feel like honored guests. The family, Paolo & Roberta, along with their son, Tommaso were exceptionally helpful with seeing to our comfort, engaging us in conversation, giving directions & suggestions for sites to see & restaurants to experience. What a faaabulous piece of heaven, only ten minutes away from the city center of florence. We found this place by pure chance when browsing tripadvisor, and were soo lucky to have found, I wish we were staying longer there. It was as if you were staying completely in the countryside of tuscany but still very close to the city...Amazing...

My wife and I just spent 4 nights at Podere La Valle. We are on a 6 week trip in Europe going to 10 different cities. We are only staying in 3 and 4 star location as we travel. Florence was in the middle of our trip so we have other recent lodging for comparison and I can say this...

Everything perfect: a marvellous house, tasty details like furniture, textiles, pictures, a very friendly reception and atmosphere, a fantastic garden and pool, very quiet, Florence nearby - we can absolutely recommend this house.
