We stayed here 4 nights in August and found it to be the perfect location. It is a little difficult to find the first time. Fortunately our taxi driver dropped us off in front of the entrance. (It is less than 10 euros for a taxi to/ from the train station, except late at night). Once you know where the...

We stayed here in July and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated with painted furniture and fabric covered walls that were just perfect for the location. We had two rooms in our own little corner with windows overlooking the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast was delicious, and served either on the rooftop garden (...

Fantastic location literally beside the Ponte Vecchio along with fantastic views from a beautiful roof terrace and incredibly warm and helpful staff make this the best choice for exploring Florence. Bridgette and her staff were nice and even printed out all my museum vouchers and had them ready when I arrived. I messed up and was late checking out my...

Stayed at the Hermitage while visiting Florence on holiday. It was a little difficult to find at first (tucked away on a side street just off Ponte Veccheo), and once inside you have to take a lift up to the main reception area. However, the hotel itself was lovely. The rooms were very clean and the whole building was very...

A really neat hotel with a great location within 50 feet of Pont Vecchio. A rather nondescript entrance but once inside a very nice with a friendly staff and a filling and good breakfast. A top floor deck/patio with great views of the Arno river and views to the south. Close to all shopping and historic sites as well as...

This is a fairly nice hotel in an AMAZING location. you are literally steps away from the Ponte Vecchio and a ton of shops (there is a great leather store called Papini up and around the corner from the hotel. they have BEAUTIFUL purses, wallets, and other things. great stuff). The hotel is very cute. I do find it a...

This is a very charming hotel. As mentioned by others it's also a great value, particularly for the location. It's within walking distance to everything but it's also just across the bridge from the less touristy, calmer part of Florence. The rooms are very clean, not huge but decorated simply and tastefully. Our bathroom had a nice sized jetted tub...

Just returned from a tour around Italy, and ended the stay at the Hermitage in Florence.Only having a couple of days in Florence, this was a great location, steps from the Ponte Vecchio and Ufuzzi. For me the winning element was the roof top terrace rarely used. You can have your breakfast out there over looking the Arno, and then...

We stayed in the Hotel Hermitage in Florence for two nights in early July. It was recommended by a relative. The location was very central, as it is literally planted directly next to the Ponte Vecchio. The entrance was somewhat hard to find at first, as the door is actually hidden around a corner in the tiny little square. The...

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries.
