We stayed at the Hotel Casci for four nights in March 2009. The room, while not fancy was very clean, pleasant and reasonably priced, and the supplied breakfast was great. Free internat access in the lobby was also a big hit with our teenaged daughters. The hotel is situated very centrally, about a block from the Duomo and close to...

This little hotel was a great find. Don't be intimidated by the less than stellar entrance and miniscule elevator. Once you get to the lobby, you'll be pleasantly surprised. What made this such a great stay, was the owners. They could not have been more accommodating. It's at the top of the 2 star hotel rating.

Hotel Casci was the perfect hotel in Florence. Close to everything, easy to find from the train station, immaculately clean and quiet. The bathroom was luxurious, with both shower and tub, beautiful tile. Staff was extremely helpful, the hotel is family run and the owneres genuinely cared that your trip was perfect. The free, 24 hour internet and wi-fi was...

My husband and I have been staying each winter at the Hotel Casci for more than 15 years. It is, literally, our "home away from home" when we are in Florence. The Lombardi family and the staff are wonderful -- warm, attentive and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are comfortable and impeccably clean. At breakfast, one can always meet...

This review is long overdue, but like many of the other posters, my stay at Hotel Casci was a real pleasure. Due to the late arrival of my luggage at FCO, I arrived about five hours later than I had planned, but the familia dei Lombardi were more than hospitable. I made two separate reservations with the hotel, first, a...

We have stayed at the Casci for 5 or 6 times in the last 15 years and have never been disappointed. The hotel is outstanding, the Lombardi's and the staff cannot do enough for you and the location could not be better. The rooms have always been modern, clean, neat and ample. This time we used it as base to...

Stayed at this family run hotel on recommendation of our daughter and son in law who'd stayed there three years ago - and it seems nothing has changed! Excellent central location, superb breakfast, a comfortable haven from the bustle and really helpful staff with nothing too much trouble, excellent value for money - what more could you want! My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Casci for a week from Saturday to Saturday in February 2009. Everything about the hotel was absolutely perfect. We followed the route to the hotel given on the hotels website and we didn't get lost. They were expecting us and knew who we were as soon as we came through to reception...

We have recently spent a marvellous few days in Florence made perfect by the warm welcome we received at Hotel Casci. Our triple room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. Carla (who runs the hotel with her son and grandson) personally helped to ensure we had a delicious and varied buffet...
