Booked because of good recommendations on the web and walking distance to tourist sights. The staff made us feel welcome from the first moment. Room was clean and very quiet; the latter was unexpected considering the hotel is in the center of the city. Staff at front desk were very helpful with everything from advance reservations for Uffizi and David,...

We stayed in Florence for three nights during our Italian honeymoon, and we loved the staff at Hotel Casci! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and very welcomed! It was such a nice thing to hear an office staff was warm and inviting, and spoke English very well!! They were also very helpful, and would make recommendations...

This hotel is definitely a "2" star hotel. Do not expect any more then that. The free wi-fi is nice, the check in was good, location good, other then that it was just okay. It was a little loud at night. The people seemed friendly at times and unfriendly at others. The reviews are a little misleading on this website....

First of all we would like to thank these and all other guests for their comments, as their opinions are an invaluable help for us, in order to keep and constantly improve our service to them. As far as this specific comment goes, we are a small family run hotel - we are proud of that and we have never...

This hotel is truly a gem. The location is perfect, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful, the room was large and clean and completely air-conditioned, there is free internet connection, and the breakfast and staff delightful. I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Florence.

This is a great family run hotel. Everything you need is right here and they even provide an inexpensive laundry service. I'm not sure why it is only rated as a 2 star and not a 3 star. If you are looking for over the top luxury this hotel is not for you. If you are looking for a spotless...

After reading the other glowing reviews I feel this will be a bit redundant, but our experience with Hotel Casci was so extraordinary I have to add our opinion. The staff, especially Paolo, was the most sincerely helpful of any I have ever encountered. We had a brief but awful travel panic when I read in my guidebook that we...

The people who operate this hotel really could not be more friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have all the amenities of a fancy hotel, but it does have a great location and is a very good bargain in an extremely expensive hotel market. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Casci took good care of us - just like family. Staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. They knew all their customers by name - very personal. Hotel is in a great location within walking distance of all you want to do in Florence and across the street from a bank and several ATMs. Room and bathroom/tub was larger...

The Hotel Casci is ideally situated for visiting any of Florence's major attractions and museums. Advice on trips and bookings for visits are both freely available at the hotel. We have now stayed at the Hotel Casci twice - each time for a full week. It has really become one of our favourite European hotels and we will keep returning...

We returned recently for a very brief stay at the Casci having spent 4 nights there in 2004. We were pleased to see that this small family-run business was as wonderful as we remembered. I have stayed in at least 5 other places in Florence over the years and I am impressed by the consistency with which the Casci delivers....
