My family has stayed at the Lungarno for years, you can not beat its location or views and it is consistently outstanding. Staff is extraordinary friendly and attentive, the rooms and bathrooms have been renovated and are breathtakingly beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is offered in the ground floor and you can look out at the Arno river and enjoy... More

It would be hard to have a better location in Florence with the hotel overlooking the Ponte Vecchio and within walking distance of all of the beautiful architecture and museums for which Florence is famous. The quality of the hotel is excellent and I assume that the only reason the hotel is not 5 star on Trip Advisor is the... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel with our two children at the end of August. There was a mix up with our amex concierge booking but the hotel very quickly sorted it out. Even though we had to move rooms mid stay, we had gorgeous rooms so the hotel more than accommodated us. The hotel staff were very... More

This hotel is a member of Small Leading Hotels. We had a room on the river overlooking the Ponte Vecchio. Just wonderful!! The location is very close to the bridge so easy to get to all of the tourist sites without being "across the river". Perfect location to walk to wonderful restaurants. Breakfast is very good, not a lot of... More

The Lungarno is rated on Trip Advisor as a 4-star hotel but I think it's closer to a 4.5 or 5. We stayed there from 9/18 to 9/20/2016 and have high praise for the facility and staff. We were warmly greeted by Salvatore Longo, the Hotel Manager, who showed us to our room which had to be one of the... More

This hotel has everything you would want ... lovely rooms (although a little on the small side), nice amenities, fantastic view of the river and friendly staff. Literally steps away from the iconic Ponte Vecchio, this hotel is perfectly situated to explore the streets, shops, museums and restaurants of Florence. Go out for an hour or all day. Whatever you... Completely pampered at warm and comfortable hotel. Every detail was impeccable. Beautifully designed and decorated. View of the Ponte Vecchio and Arno hard to beat. Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
