A very pituresque place. An old watermill is now a tastefully and lovely decorated small hotel in the shores of river Arno. The water course of the mill is now a lovely pool. Great sunsets, excellent breakfasts, nice but a bit expensive restaurant. Garage to the car and lots of amenities.

We've stayed in this hotel on our way to our house in Tuscany. We didn't want a hotel in the city, if you do want that, skip it. It is a long drive to the centre, and there are just a few busses a day. The hotel is a beatiful restored building. The staff is realy friendly, helpful and all...

Dear Guest, we are really surprised about your review because you mentioned as negative some of the things that usually are our strength, for example the view on the Arno river that you can see from our superior room. Regarding the distance from the city center this is mentioned on our site so the people who choose our hotel do...

What an absolute gem of a hotel this is. I love hotels with character that reflect their location and this one is perfect. The hotel is reached through some delightful tuscan lanes walled on both sides just over a car width wide, completely brilliant. You park opposite the hotel in a secure secluded car park and reach the hotel either...

Dear Guest, thank you very much for the detailed description of all the small things (even if not so small...) like the underground tunnel, the wheel at the pool and all the furniture in common areas that you mentioned. We've had a hard work in making the old mill to became an hotel so we are very happy when we...

Being that this was our first time in Italy, we had used TripAdvisor to find Hotel Mulino. What we expected and what was actually presented was so far beyond our imagination. The staff was extremely friendly and fluent in English; they helped us with every request. Dining at the restaurant was spectacular (thanks Aldo for your professionalism and charm). The...

My wife and I together with our 16 year old daughter stayed at this fabulous hotel for 7 days during late July. From the moment we pulled into the underground car park, we had the feeling that the place would live up to its reputation. Arriving through the imposing entrance gates across the cobbled courtyard to reception only heightened those...

Our family of 5 Americans plus one Italian friend spent three nights at this hotel in two triple rooms. I booked the hotel after reading the previous reviews here, but am now somewhat confused as our experience was quite different from the vast majority. The hotel itself was lovely, the food was wonderful and the pool was fantastic. However, with...

We stayed for a long weekend for our tenth anniversary in May (just got round to writing this.) The hotel is full of beautiful artworks and scultures. It is interesting and unique - unlike anywhere we've ever stayed. Our room was small but adequate for us and had a beautiful view of the Arno. Reception staff are friendly and efficient,...

This was a great hotel. Helpful staff, wonderful location on the river with beautiful views. Pool, Spa, wonderful artwork everywhere, beautiful place to stay for a relaxing time. The restaurant was great, and the food marvelous. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that it is not in the heart of the old city. Florence can be...

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting by the river. We stayed for 5 nights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The swimming pool was great for a dip after sightseeing in Florence. I would love to go back - it was a lovely relaxing place to stay.

This hotel is great for someone looking for a quiet spot in a beautiful countryside. It's clean, unique and pretty beautiful. In general, the staff are helpful and friendly. The shuttle in and out of Florence is decent but if you don't like being on someone else's schedule you can get to Florence for about 11 euro. If you miss...
